Awesome to hear we're getting a special. I hope it's either the second crossover or the Usagi one.

Didn't Brandon Auman say that the next episode will be "Lone Rat and Cubs"?

Nickalive also announced the one-hour special, but it's interesting that any of the articles or websites say a summary about the special. But in this link they say something kind of different about the future of the turtles: "Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles captures seven distinct stories from the hero brothers’ past and future, including their early days in New York City, encounters with villains and friends, and a peek into their distant, but wild future." Im guessing the one hour special will consist of the first episode showing the flashback of the turtles being adopted, while the second goes into the future, just like the 2 part time travel episodes from season 3.

That could be. Either way, I'm excited that we're finally getting news on when episodes are going to air and a little bit about them.

Or it could be like Powers Unleashed. That one hour special could be the two episodes that come after Lone Rat and Cubs.

Oh holy this should be good. Them actually naming their 2 parters the same title reminds me of the 4kids series. They always had their 2 or 3 parters the same title and meant that the next episode would take off right where it ended, which I loved. Im so excited.

Greg Cipes and Josh Peck are talking about season 5 of TMNT in this video:
https://www.facebook.com/SuperNewsLi...6424266073376/ Greg says that the ICK music video will come on a DVD soon and the next episode will be in June 18th as we already know. |

Sweet. Can't wait for that music video and for the new episodes to start airing. At least we have an air date for them.

Part of me wishes all of season 5 was available to bingewatch, but the other part doesn't want this show to end. Can't wait for June either!

Yeah, that's how I feel too. I would rather have them stretch it out so at least we don't have to say goodbye too soon.

My guess is they'll air new episodes in clumps of 4 or story arcs and take breaks. The show probably won't end till early 2018.

I'm really hoping it ends this year, preferably either by Christmas or the show's 5 year anniversary.

The fact that until late June, for the first 6 months of the year they've only managed to air 4 new episodes of the season....proves they can stretch out the remainder 16 episodes as long as they can.
If you said last year that we would go the first 6 months of 2017 with only 4 new episodes of Season 5 aired so far...people would have laughed and shook their heads. Yet here we are. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the last eps don't air till early 2018. |

No, I feel it will end by 2018 since the newer show is supposed to air by then and I highly doubt they will want to have two TMNT shows running simultaneously.
