Which scene was more emotional?

I am proud of you, my sons.

Tonight you have learned the final and greatest truth of the Ninja:
That ultimate mastering comes not from the body, but from the mind.
Together, there is nothing your minds cannot accomplish.
Help each other, draw upon one another, and always remember the force that binds you. .

The same is what brought me here tonight, that which I gladly return with my final words:

or..

Some people can relate to Raph so it's not out of the realm of possibility that his scene with Splinter is more emotional to some.

Splinter's last words. Though just about any scene in the movie that features Splinter is pretty emotional.

Especially when he was cumming..... to a conclusion.

I agree with most above. Splinter's "last words" were very emotional.

The beginning of this scene is emotional as well.

The scream then cut to what looks like a battered and dying Splinter.

I've always loved that scene, particularly the music and the way it transitions into the training montage.

I have a CD with the audio of all Shredders scenes that I play on the way to and from work.

Since this is a blowout, which scenes still give you chills?

I don't know about chills, but I always cringe during the fight scene in the shop when that one Foot soldier swings the axe and misses- hitting the power cord and electrocuting himself. OUCH! My hubby and I still argue over whether that Foot soldier was killed. I think he was. Possibly the only fatality in the entire movie- not counting Shredder's "death".

but my favorite part of the movie was and always will be when Donnie and Mikey are trading one-liners during the fight in April's apartment. They seem to treat the whole fight as a game- in spite of what has just happened to Raph. Mikey's "fellow chucker" shot is a particular favorite bit- he's just so cocky while "schooling" the Foot guy, LOL!

I theorize that quite a few Foot died in the fire. A lot of them were knocked out sprawled everywhere.

Possibly, but we did see some of the remaining ones dragging unconscious Foot out, and I doubt either Tatsu or Shredder would have wanted to leave behind evidence that they were there- not even the dead guy. He's the only one we ever actually SEE "die", though.

I think at least a couple died in the fire. When Tatsu says "ninja vanish" the whole place is up in flames. I don't think they had time to grab everyone. Especially the ones upstairs still knocked out.

Just what I think happened. All moot anyway.

Well, the ones upstairs would have mostly been downstairs after the floor collapsed, so I don't think I'd worry too much about them, LOL! Though the ones on the roof might not have been retrieved.....

The campfire didn't have much an impact to me as Splinter's one-on-one with Raph, sitting in the dark illuminated by a single candlelight.

"Do not forget them.. and do not forget me"
"I am here, my son..."

*chills and feels all over my body*

For someone who was like 4 when I saw this movie, both scenes were very powerful. I guess I have to like the campfire scene more because it's got all 4 Turtles. I'm glad they managed to put such emotion into this movie. Why did Splinter say it was his last words if he clearly wasn't about to die though?
