I guess I kinda figured the crystal would be a version of Kirby's crystal from the get-go... Didn't quite guess it would be used to make green symbols.

The Jack Kirby crystal stuff being in IDW is nice so far, I wonder how they'll use it. Good issue overall even if it feels like the real meat of the story is happening in the specials and mini-series.
