I saw that image in the issue of the comic series I've been reading for several years.

Edit: it's a good series. I'd recommend you check it out

Questions! Last year I bought IDW digital bundles on Comixology that carried me up to issue #50. Wondering if there are any current digital bundles that carry on from that point? Looking for the cheapest way to get up to the current issue (digital preferred).

Thanks in advance.

I'm sure it gets asked often... I'm looking at buying either the ultimate collection of comics or the colored works. Currently I own First graphic novels 1-4. Which are colored and I have checked out the b&w a few times at the library though I feel like I get lost in ink from time to time and the color is easier to read. So I'm leaning towards the works ones unless they are missing stuff that's in the ultimate set.

I was hoping for some thoughts on how people liked them comparatively? How well are your copies holding up?

I personally hate the coloring IDW has done with the old Mirage stuff. First did a great job, but the duotone inking is just too good to color over if you ask me.

I don't think there's any kind of difference in content though.

I despise the coloring as well. B&W is the way to go.

I noticed First did a much better job comparing the two via the amazon preview of the works book.

That's because it was actually... Lavigne? Or someone at Mirage, that did it for First, not a third party. Steve certainly has quite a lot of the blue lines if the occasional sales from the novels if anything to go by.

To anyone who has the new TMNT/Ghostbusters Deluxe hardcover collection:

How is it? What extras does it have? Since the Ghostbusters crossover is going to be included in the IDW Collections a little later down the line, I'm wary of buying it twice.

That was the thing that always mystified me about the turn the franchise took when Eastman and Laird licensed the cartoon and the parallel comic book published by the same outfit that gave us Archie. The turtles' original origin story? The whole thing hinges on a for-Christ's-sake rape-murder!!!!
from here.

Mirage Volume 1, Issue 2 Sighting (1st printing)

Hey just found a 1st printing of Issue 2 (mirage volume 1) at a store for $280. Is that a good price? Quick responses appreciated!

I browsed through it VERY briefly at a shop this weekend. I think it had a variant cover gallery, maybe a dialogue between creators about the story (not positive on that one), and some character design pages. It wasn't quite enough to convince me to double dip with the IDW Collection coming later.

When did they start wearing longer bandanas in the original TMNT comics?
