John Wick: Chapter 3
The movie has now officially entered production: http://www.darkhorizons.com/john-wic...re-production/ Looks like director Chad Stahelski is only aboard (for now) as a "prep director" so it might be another director on this one. Stahelski is supposed to be directing the Highlander remake, which is also gearing up.

These movies are great. I'm shocked I like a movie universe that starts with a puppy getting killed as much as I do.
I hope Stahelski ends up directing it. |

I kind of don't trust it without him. Where things went and grew in Chapter 2 with the league of hobo assassins and all of that, there's a big potential for someone new to come in and make it all wacky and camp and unworkable. So far both films have treaded a line very skillfully but in the wrong hands I could see it very easily coming off of the rails.

The first John Wick movie was awesome.
I've yet to see the second movie, but, I could talk a certain individual that I know into letting me watch it. Here's hoping for a good J.W.3.

So Ruby Rose lives and John Wick is going up against the Yakuza?

Ah good, they did add the "chapter" in there. That was going to bug me.

I love to think that John Wick is actually an Alt earth Ted Theodore Logan after he went to Military School and it really changed him into a killer.

NOW this is a franchise i support! i mean this franchise should be a wake up call to Hollywood that new franchises CAN be successful and lightning in a bottle.
It's better than bringing a dead franchise like Die Hard back from the dead when it needs to stay buried in favor of new franchises, i mean the first film is my fave film of 2014 and the second film is one of my faves of 2017. This one is my most anticipated movie of the year no doubt and should be a nice finale. I love how this franchise is a throwback to 80s/90s actioners like Death Wish films, Die Hard trilogy, The Killer, Hard Boiled, T2, Cobra and so much more. |
