800 Japanese Yen, which is less than $8 for these 2 giant turtles.
I was ready to pay $16 for them but the lady told me
No, No, No.... $8 for both.

Recently I got all four 'classic collection turtles' (based off the 1988 figures) for £4.99 each!
Not from EBay either. Local toy shop had loads of them. Couldn't believe my eyes considering ToysRus still have them for sale at £24.99 each!

Playmates named all of them "classic collection"

The retro line, TV show figures and the movie figures.

don't know if i'd call it a steal but a vender at my local nerd shop had bebop and rocksteady for 50 bucks each and was able to get em through trade. i saved em from being made in to a lamp.

I'm actually curious to know what plans existed to turn those giant Bebop and Rocksteady figures into lamps. Is that something that is commonly done and did the store think they would sell better in that revised form?

Wasn't me that got this but a pretty good deal considering that I've seen Donatello for this much. Pretty jealous.

I've seen Raph hit close to $1k and Don sell for $2k+ before, so very good steal to whoever got it, despite no boxes or COAs.
