I think we are dealing with some fallout of the Paramount merger here. Nickelodeon had a deal with Netflix to distribute new movies based on their properties before the merger which is what this was a part of, but in between then and the intended release date, Viacom and CBS merged to form the current version of Paramount who intend to release everything on Paramount+ (formerly CBS All-Access). The movie probably already exists in a distributable form but I think Paramount is waiting for the Nickelodeon/Netflix deal to expire just so they can release it on Paramount+ instead.

Speaking of which, because they made that deal with Netflix, does that mean their movies Hey Arnold The Jungle Movie, Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus, and Rocko: Static Cling are stuck as exclusives for the service or will there be a point where they can add them to Paramount+?

I just found out that all those Netflix Marvel shows were removed and put on Disney+ this month. So that answers my question, lol.

Hey Arnold The Jungle Movie was never a Netflix exclusive to begin with.

Andy Suriano just put a post on Instagram saying "That's a wrap" and it implies it's the Rise movie (uses Rise hashtags and Ant Ward is on it to, so I actually have not much doubt). So hopefully we might finally see something soon...

And you know why they dont have such a monster? Because netflix is apoor company and they dont have billionaires crime lords like me to fund their movies and series and to buy high enc pcs like mine! The first season of Rise is going to be on Netflix on 5/31. No info about the 2nd season or the movie. Think the movie will be coming shortly after.

On a more interesting note the May 2022 Netflix release list also listed the following: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Season 1

It didn’t mention if it is Season 1 of the 1987, 2003 or 2012 series.

Maybe June then... else "spring" turns into false hope (for someone out there) again. Maybe they've bumped it to summer again, when the kids are out of school and have time to be bored enough.

Would be fantastic if it was 2003 but won't hold my breath. Maybe 87? But I don't think Nick/Viacom have distribution rights of that one? Feel like 2012 is more likely if going on alongside Rise, but with Paramount+ being a thing now it would surprise me a little.

I'm at work right now so can't find the references but I saw online last night that it will also be the 2012 series on Netflix along with Rise.

Apparently they have also released a run time for the Rise movie which was something like 1hr 22mins.

Hopefully both 2012 fans and Rise fans can both be happy and live their lives in peace and sanctuary as both are getting a piece of their pie
