Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. It started off great, but became pretty formulaic soon thereafter (perhaps intentionally, but still). I enjoyed it, but I expected more after hearing so much about it.

The Usual Suspects
RoboCop 2
Body Heat
Death Wish 2

For the most part, they kept my attention.

I saw the first two Alien films for the first time in years. While the first one is still awesome, Aliens hasn't aged all that well and all the trashy B-movie dialogue in the fiirst half of the film doesn't help either. The finale is still every bit as good as ever though.

Sherlock Holmes:

Robert Downey Jr rox as Holmes. I loved that he mentioned his brother. There were some twists and turns that kinda reminded me of
Spoiler:
a Dan Brown novel....Yay...A secret society that's not called Illuminati or Freemasons but really is!
...the ending left room for a sequel
Spoiler:
since the movie is basically Holmes' first encounter with Moriarty.

Driven

Never saw it, and I wasn't missing much. I like Stallone, and Estella Warren makes good eye candy, but this was very lacking. Just a bunch of edits, and music.

Sherlock Holmes... was sold out so we went to see Law Abiding Citizen. Despite a ridiculous plot and unlikeable characters, it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.

Daybreakers

One of the better genre films of recent memory.

I watched "State of Grace" Friday night and really loved it. While I do dig my Italian mafia movies, this Irish mob flick was a nice breather. Sean Penn and Gary Oldman were just great in it.
