Most Quotable Films
What films stand out due to memorable lines or dialogue in the film? There are plenty that may have a monologue or a line or two that is remembered, however, what films stand out to you for the ability to quote a film and why?

Pretty obvious, original Star Wars trilogy, Back to the Future trilogy, Terminator 1-2, Rocky, etc.
Basically most classic movies from the 80's and 90's, people constantly quote lines from those films for 30+ years now. |

I've always thought Edgar Wright was imminently quotable.
"You're off the fvcking chain!" "What’s the matter, Danny? Never taken a shortcut before?”

Clue movie.
Col. Mustard: Do you like Kipling Miss Scarlet? Miss Scarlet: Sure I'll eat anything. Prof. Plum: What are you afraid of, a fate worse than death? Mrs. Peacock: No, just death, isn't that enough? Wadsworth: Your first husband also disappeared. Mrs. White: But that was his job. He was an illusionist. Wadsworth: But he never reappeared! Mrs. White: He wasn't a very good illusionist. Col. Mustard: Are you trying to make me look stupid in front of the other guests?! Wadsworth: You don't need any help from me Sir. Col. Mustard: That's right! |

I remember introducing someone to the Die Hard movies and when watching they said 'oh, so that's where that comes from' but wouldn't call is most quotable.
Otherwise obviously terminator comes to mind. Wizard of OZ maybe 'don't think we are in Kansas anymore' has been used elsewhere but again maybe not most quotable, just not a lot coming to mind. |

^Speaking of Oz, I much prefer the sequel, Return to Oz. It’s a much darker story compared to the original.
