I thought that was confirmed.

I thought so too, but whenever I brought it up in the past, many of the technodrome old timers tell me it's never been confirmed. I know Laird has been specific with Donny being his favorite, but nothing concrete from Eastman.

Well, I read the interview, and I guess it's now confirmed. Laird's favorite is Donatello and Eastman's favorite is Michelangelo. But then again, in this interview, he says Raphael is his favorite. Or, at least is favorite to write and the one he most relates to.http://www.webcomicalliance.com/webc...-kevin-eastma/ Last edited by Warhorse; 08-15-2014 at 10:38 PM. |

That was a pretty useless advertisement for the new film. He didn't really have anything new to say and much of what he did say was misinformed or downright ignorant. "I'd like to see a comic with the turtles in their 30's" I'm misquoting and paraphrasing, but sheesh. Research your co-creators and ol partner's most recent work on the franchise for Christ's sake.

Yeah, I thought that was really odd myself. I honestly thought it might have just been a switch in favourites over the years, since that can very well happen. He did mention how much he liked 2k12's take on Mikey, which may have something to do with it.
Though of course it's still totally possible he's saying it for Megan Fox or the new movie, too.

Eastman has always said that Mikey is his favorite turtle period & Raphael is his favorite to write/draw. So there ya go.

Pretty sure he said it in his artobiography from 2009, at the very least.

I though I remembered Eastman saying Raphael in the past too, but I think I was just thinking of him being a fan of Casey maybe?
