I'd live in one, but have waaay too much stuff. I think those are only practical for people who have very little furniture, and prefrer only a very Spartan, minimlist lifestyle. I mean, can you imagine living in a home where you can't even keep more than maybe a dozen books due to lack of space? Perish the thought!!

Agree, esp with the books...and figure collections, etc. Some tiny houses are really awesome looking inside, but I like my stuff and there wouldn't be any place for me to put or display them.

If someone largely existed outside of it and just went home there to eat and sleep, that might be great, but I'm too much of a homebody and need a little more room to spread out than that.

edit: Pics of one I was looking at recently that was a really beautiful place (and an XL size tiny house) also pointed out the "incinerator toilet" as part of the amenities. First I'd ever heard of such a thing and sounds a little unnerving. (Not to mention a little inconvenient at times.)

If Gotham city is in New Jersey, does that mean Batman sounds like Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force?

Who is a bigger shill, Pixel Dan or Black Nerd?

I like both of them as people, haven't enjoyed their content for well being shills. But who is the bigger one?

I'm more familiar with André, so André it is.

When you have one of those days where if EVERY. DAMN. THING. can be as frustrating as possible, it absolutely WILL BE, much of that human-caused, and making you realize that IF you were a wannabe evil villain, you might consider a career change in research of methods in which to destroy all of humanity. Hell, maybe even the universe of some of this.

I pity some theoretical alternate universe that has the evil super villain version of me... lol

Is it just me, or have toaster cords gotten really short over the years?

I've been watching Netflix's She-Ra. It's fine. It's a show of its time. Liking it a lot more than Voltron, though.

BUT OH BOY. Is it like me to have all these main characters and then immediately attach to third-tier minor character Kyle. It doesn't help me much that one of my brothers is named Kyle, but the boy must be protected at all cost and deserves to get out of the Horde. Get that child some real friends.

In summary of my experience...

(Entrapta's cool too, I guess)

Why does snake hate Reddit

Did a toxic Reddit troll just bully him or something

Did he come across a toxic subreddit

Did he actually go on Reddit

I need my answers and it's just making my brain hurt

The fact no one has thought about making an R Rated, Film-Noir Styled Netflix show based on 'The Shadow' is really confusing me

Random thought... this.

Had a decent laugh at this thought this morning, so I went the lazy route and grabbed some clip art and made a thing.

Spoiler:

It's the equivalent of talking to a million clones of the same person who don't realize they're clones.

Why are weapons laws so stupid...

Was thinking of getting my mom a mini stun gun for Christmas. She enjoys taking a walk around the neighborhood some days after dark, but hasn't done it much since dad passed and only this spring is kind of getting back into it, but isn't entirely comfortable going alone.

So I was thinking of getting her a little mini with a built in light that she can just take with her. Would probably never need it, but handy just in case. If nothing else maybe the sound of it can spook off the occasional fox.

So I'm seeing all these sites that are saying on yeah, it's legal in my state. But it's confusing because I guess that conflicts with my county however, that, as far as I understand, prohibits it... I think? Which is itself stupid as we only have three counties, so it's not like one little corner doesn't like, it's a whole third of the state.

So all the guns... fine. An effective non-lethal (in most cases) deterrent? Oh no, that's bad. Of course. You want a semi automatic whatever blah blah blah in your house, great. A mini stun gun in your purse or a throwing star used only as a display object on a shelf... OMFG NO. Those might hurt someone.

edit: Also this was supposed to be in the grind section...

Yeah, we've had a lot of watches lately with nasty storms we had this week. What the heck is summer going to be like...

Probably a bit worse than "normal" summers. More storms, more tornadoes.

Though, the last time I can think of us having REAAAALLY bad storms was in 2012. And before that, 2007.

So I think we're due for some whoppers of storms anyway.

I have two distinct memories of that.
In 2012, my dad would pick me up from school during my off period (which was the last period of the day, anyway) so I could go home and do driving practice. That day he couldn't, so I took the bus home. He was taking care of kittens at the time, so when I came home, he was sitting on the floor of his bathroom with all five of the kittens.
On the bus ride, I heard some boys making jokes about the school's most intimidating and bad@$$ administrator diving into the supposed tornado that could potentially strike (and didn't), ripping out its smoky heart, and delivering it to the principal. Dropping it on his desk saying "it is done". And I believe she would!

In 2007, massive floods washed out a bunch of critters from the local park that's just a three minute walk from my family's house. Lots of turtles, but especially, a gigantic honker of a bullfrog that mom caught in a plastic grocery bag, brought it home to show it to us, then we returned it to the park. During that same period of storms, we had a full rainbow across the park entrance near our house. That was super cool. Don't usually see those.
