Marvel Zombies

I was at the comic store today and I remember my friend mentioned this to me a few weeks back. So I decided to grab an issue. Sadly they only had one left and it was issue #2. I liked it though I was a bit confused at what was going on. But they explained some. I guess it's about a world where all the Marvel super heros were turned into zombies. They ate all the remaining humans and now their searching for food. It's actually pretty intresting though it might sound pretty dull at first. It has some other stuff going on too but I don't want to spoil anything. Anyone else read this? And if you have been following it are there only two issues out?

It is a good read. the only draw back is that they are intelligent. and are trying to cure themselves, but its still good. and my favorite line was..

"I hope you choke on me!"

It's quite good, but they all look kinda similar. I mean, the artist wasn't creative when zombifying them. But it's fun.

Want me to tell you what happened in the first issue, Spitfire?

now for those of u who dont know marvel has a new 1 shot 5 part mini series called marvel zombies. the 3rd issue is already out and its amazing. alll the mavel heroes are now zombies or have become food for the rest lol. not much has been explaned about how it happend. heres the intro for it so do i even have to say spoilers?

Spoiler:

the art work is amazing, the story so far (only read issues 1-2 not 3 yet) is awsome. theres plenty of zombie jokes flying around (spider-mans leg breaks off and he wines about it lol) and so forth.each issue gets deeper and deeper. i dont wanna give away to much but if any u guys wanna know more ill tell ya.

I wonder how you missed this thread, it was on the first page and clearly labelled "Marvel Zombies". And we have spoiler-tags. Use them.

Anyways, issue three is nothing spectacular either. This series began really interesting, but there's nothing new now. And the story is really slow.

I havn't read 3 yet but in the mail today I'm getting 1*Reprint* and 3. I'm also getting the FF issues the zombies are featured in. And my friend also sent me the TMNT comics I'm missing ^_^

Issue Four is out. And it doesn't get much more interesting. I think the conclusion will suck big time, since they've got a lot to wrap up in twenty pages (took them long enough to create two parallel storylines). Way to ruin a good idea.

Good luck unless you buy it the first two days it's out you'll have to wait for the re-prints or possibly even E-bay.

I think they will wrap it up in Ultimate Fantastic Four, I heard they were going back to zombies in a new story arc. I heard issue 4 was all talking so I assume their setting it up for an end. Who knows what they will do but seriously how can a story about zombies end? They can eat whoever is left and then have nothing left to eat. Or they can get killed. That's pretty much how I see it ending. That or they use the powers they got to fly to other planets and eat everyone...

Unfortunately even if i had the chance the first few days it was out but where i live there is no comic shop

Hopefully it'll be in the shop i get my movie merch.

You never get to see how they sweep the planet and kill everyone. It starts with Magneto being eaten, but he put up helluva fight, chopped Cap's top, ripped out DD's heart with a steel beam, cut off Hawkeye's head and did a lot of other things. Then he gets eaten. But apparently there's twelve people left on Asteroid M. So the Zombies try to figure out what happened and if there's a cure and what their new bodies can and can't do. And that's about it. __________________ Because it's... I dunno... brutal.
