Rambo is tracking a feral killer throughout the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest, hot on his trail... but always coming up just a little bit behind his trail. He finds bodies torn apart, gore, etc., as he continues to follow the trail. All the while he's having flashbacks to his years as a young man fighting in the Vietnam War after being trained by Trautman to be an invincible killing machine (I'm not a big prequel advocate, but with the few quick glimpses we got in "First Blood" of these years, I'd be fascinated to see Rambo: The Nam Years)... and then Rambo in the present is having blackouts with these flashbacks. In the end he finds out the killer he's been chasing has been him the whole time. Might end in the suicide the first film omitted. |

There is no way Stallone would kill off Rambo.

So a 71 year old Rambo is going to go shooting up Mexican drug cartels and killing 100 drug dealers looking for his half sister. Sounds legit.

I can understand people criticizing the story and acting in these movies except for First Blood that movie is great, but I still can’t understand why people think it’s ridiculous that Sly, at his age is making these movies. I mean physically he can still pull it off better than most half his age. I think it’s incredible what he has done physically on screen over the last ten years. Truly remarkable! I say bring it on Sly! Also I think the fourth Rambo movie was pretty badass!

Crap... there's tons of Chinese money tied up in this movie also.

^ Dude again? Ok I’m starting to think you’re just complaining sarcastically or something about these Chinese agreements.
You know they’re not gonna end up however you think. Rambo 5 is about the Mexican cartel after all.

This is a relatively new thing. But the end result always seems the same. Quote:
Hopefully Stallone will insulate this from that. But we shall see. Maybe he was like, "OK, I'll do Escape Plan 2 and 3... but you f***ers better fund Rambo 5 proper and you leave that one alone! Put it in the contract!" But... then again he did do a PG-13 Expendables 3, which he promised he would never.

I don’t even know what to say anymore. I just find it funny that you’re keeping an eye out to see who finances these movies (if it genuinely bothers you).
There’s probably plenty of Chinese or other things slipped into movies that have nothing to do with who finances. You don’t think anything of it...why can’t you do the same with these? Just because you read who the companies are? I honestly do not care if there’s Chinese characters or nods in this or Terminator. We know what the focus and actual movies are going to be about.

Pics have been being posted by Sly on his Instagram from the filming of the movie.
https://deadline.com/2018/10/rambo-s...-5-1202475306/ Looks fantastic! And the title is officially "Last Blood."

Excited for this one! So far "Glass", Lars von Trier's "The House that Jack Built", Gaspar Noe's "Climax" and this are my most anticipated for 2019.

It is seldom I geek out without remorse. But this is one time that I do.
This is awesome beyond all comprehension. Rambo vs. The cartel.

Seems like it might be set up akin to First Blood, just instead of police, its Mexican cartels. Hoping it is a fitting end to the series!

One way? Is that implying Rambo dies? I really, really, really hope not.
No reason to kill off the character entirely.
