Still love these things and it's overall not THAT bad, but I constantly find myself wanting to move the figures around into new dynamic poses and next thing I know a half hour has flown by! Maybe I'm too particular.
Im not really sure these guys are meant for terribly dynamic poses. To me they are just adjustable statues.

Hell - I wasn't even trying to do anything dynamic ... I was simply just trying to get Donatello to pose with his hand gripping the side and the top of his bo staff. For whatever reason, the angle kept popping his hands off the peg.

They still look amazing though ever time I walk in the room I have them. I honestly hope this series continues past Shredder and the Foot, but guess we'll have to see!

There's a customizer I met recently that's making custom stands for these. He made pegs that fit just right and also make posing more possible. I'm just hoping he goes into some sort of production with them. They look like a scaled up version of the playmates stands.

He has a pic of it on his table, but it's kinda hard to see:

Coro, if I order an Ooze canister and pre-order the baby turtles from you do I need to make separate orders so that I don't have to wait for them to ship together?

Since its free shipping in the US I would prefer separate orders. This will ensure they will ship asap in the event that they release on different dates as well.

Maybe this is old news, but I was surprised to learn that Trevor left NECA. Too bad, he was a real talent.

Oh, that's too bad. Isn't it he the one doing the sculpting on 1/4th Shredder?

Source is the Facebook page of Ken Mitchroney (Archie TMNT comics artist). Maybe I misunderstood his wording, but he says "sculpted before he left NECA toys".

It's a public post, so hopefully there's no harm in my sharing it.

Hrmm ... well this is interesting, but certainly it doesn't put any damper into the longevity of this line. Right?

Yeah, finally got Donatello... now I'm done. No interest in Raph in disguise... not because he isn't great... just no need for duplicates.

You could always buy the additional accessories.

Well I bought Raph in Disguise, Mikey and Leo. Leo lasted 3 days, fell off my entertainment center, completely broke his leg from the knee joint down and left a pretty large scratch on my tv from his katana... totally wrecked my day. The joint is completely broken and I don't think there's a way to fix it without making it unmoveable. Mike got lucky and landed on Raph which I think his coat is the only reason they managed to not break at all.

I hear you, my Leo fell and broke a scabbard.

My Raph's leg snapped off when I tried to pose him. And I was not even pushing hard.

I got a replacement Raph and he slouched, so I pulled him apart to put a rubber band around the peg so he would stay upright and now I can't fit the peg back in so he slouches forever.

It's all pretty tragic.

That sucks, I wish the feet were a little more weighted so they would hold them down better. I learned my lesson though, make sure things are pushed back as far as possible and check them every now and then to make sure they are still in a nice tight position.

I'm honestly regretting opening them. I may just end up sticking them back in their boxes if they fall over again. I just thought they were too cool to leave sealed.

I have 2 of them, the other 2 are in my POL at BBTS. The 2 I have are currently open and displayed, but I'm definitely nervous about them.

Really debating if I should get some stands to secure them, or kinda lean them back against the wall slightly. It wouldn't really be noticeable.

That's how I have mine. Donnie's got the tripod with the bo staff but the other three are front foot forward with a slight lean back. Hardly noticeable unless looking from the side.
