I don't know, those tags in their ears might mean they were from an animal smugling ring/pet store. That and from what i've noticed of the idw series if they were human their more humanoid, if they were animals in the first place their more feral/primitive.

Sally wasn't human first, was she? Cause she's like the most humanoid looking (furry) mutant in the story.

I don't think she (and Ray) were originally human, I think they were animals mutated. On the other hand, I don't recall if that was ever explained. But I think in the Jersey Devil Universe issue, it's more or less outrite stated that the two used to be animals judging by Ray's reaction to Dreadmon's attitude about having once been human. Now with that said, at the time the two joined the Mutanimals, I don't think Hob would've accepted them into the group if they had been humans before. Now, obviously, Hob's attitude concerning that subject has changed, but at the time it was different, especially when you remember how Hob reacted when he realized that Bebop and Rocksteady had once been human when he was trying to recruit them.

Unless something happens to Bebop and Rocksteady in #100, I'd really like to see them becoming Hob's enforcers at some point. He sure can use the muscle.

I hope so too, tho I'm thinking maybe Koya and Bludgeon may play that role or maybe something bigger. And here's why I think that. In 99 when Kitsune is saying her speech at the end with each of her sentences being imposed over a panel of the fight going on, her saying "the FUTURE" is imposed over the fight between Koya/Bludgeon vs Donnie/Mikey/Angel/Alopex. Now, we all know how this device works and its intentions. So, I'm thinking that Koya and Bludgeon may play a significant role post 100 (along with Angel and Alopex and obviously Mikey and Donnie).

Now I know who those three weasels remind me of, right down to their ragged clothes: the Trio De Dangers from Dragon Ball Super!

From the ear tags I am going to guess they are domestic ferrets.

Maybe they're gonna be the TMNT equivalent of the Trio villain group from that one season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Yes, I watched a little of that when I was younger, I'll admit it

You make it sound like that's something to be ashamed of... In fact, you might want to give it a rewatch now that you're older. But while I can see the parallel, I doubt there'll be an equivalent to Warren. For a number of reasons.

I agree, but I think they might be those kinda behind-the-scenes villains.

When does February’s issue drop? Are we back to a last-week-of-the-month release date?
