They're hinting she's going to be very mistrusting of classic Superman in Justice League, but she will also be reconnecting with Steve Trevor in her own book (they almost got back together in Darksied War before N52 Supes got sick again)

New interview with Geoff here

https://www.inverse.com/article/1599...ns-lost-heroes

Very assuring interview, especially when he says a particular book was not the instruction manual on how to do contemporary comics (a jab at certain Marvel bigwigs who actually think it is), and that the problem can't be fought with Batman leading the charge to punch the person responsible in the face a couple of times.

Let's just hope fans arent like this at the end of it all

That's true. I've read the spoilers and the sad part is they leave out so much info and then NEVER actually get around to telling the story... I'm basic done with the DCU as of Wednesday...

Peter Tomasi talks "Final Days of Superman" and "Rebirth" (MAJOR spoilers for this week's issues)

Spoiler:
You know Bob Harras is in the house when you have N52 Superman go out exactly like Ben Reily did.

I have to admit... I'm a little bit intrigued now.

And the New52 Superman is going to literally be killed off and replaced by the pre-New52 Superman? And Dr. Manhattan is somehow behind it all? It's so audacious, it's hard not to be interested.

thanks for sharing that!

i dropped Justice League after #46 (i think?) and got rid of them all.

that Joker identity reveal did have me curious!
but there was NO WAY i was going to break down and buy yet another issue of a series that has so often disappointed me.

and i'm happy to see that JL #50 hasn't broken the shameless 'gimmick-bait' trend.

i really don't think 80 pages was needed to do what this comic accomplished

Spoiler:

Classic Wally West returned and the Watchmen made part of the DC Universe

i really thought they'd just bring the Watchmen into the fold a few years back when they were promoting the %$&@ out of 'BEFORE WATCHMEN'?

anyway, at least i only wasted $2.99

OH WAIT! Geoff Johns will buy back my copy right?

well at least this will finally stop all the complaining about - "Bring the REAL Wally West BACK!"

I really liked the first issue. It was great to see classic Wally brought back. Favorite part was seeing him and Barry reunite. I hope Linda and Wally get back together.

Yeah, sadly it looks like Barry is'nt even trying to get back with Iris or to remind her they were married now that he remembers Wally, as the solits for his book say he aims to start a new relationship with someone

But then, this is supposed to be a two year long game, so we just have to be patient. At least this explains why all the relationships went wonky and takes the blame off of every character.

Looking forward to how love overcomes doubt.

Yeah.

I also see black Wally and Impulse. I thought classic Wally was coming back (as Kid Flash).

Seems like he comes back younger and in his old Kid Flash costume, but as soon as he gets settled he puts on a new costume heavily inspired by his Kid Flash one. But there's no way he's going around calling himself "Kid Flash" at this point. That would be nonsensical as it would be insulting.
