A portion of mouthwash and a little water to dilute that, half a sandwich with what little turkey was left, and about to open a Tastykake lemon pie... the same style of pie the Turtle pies used to be, minus the green glaze and pudding. (Seriously, it would be so easy for Tastykake to make them.)

Yesterday I tried to make those little donuts Chinese buffets often have. So turns out I suck at frying things in oil, so they're kind of a mess, but still taste quite good.
Quite simple though, they're just a tube of the premade biscuit dough (used buttermilk flavor) fried in oil (peanut oil suggested) and tossed in sugar. |

I had two plain hotdogs.
Before I ate those, I had some Chuckanut Bay cheesecake bites. |

I ate some lentils and rice.
Unfortunately, the lentils made me really gassy. |

Reese's peanut butter coated, chocolate dipped animal crackers. Ohhh...these things could be trouble, they're way too good.

I went out with an old friend for dinner at a local Sicilian restaurant. We shared a huge plate of Antipasti with olives, two kinds of cheese, dried tomatoes and rake. Then I had a fantastic Quattro Formaggi. Just had the leftovers for breakfast, lol.

About to try this...
Nature Valley savory nut crunch bar in.... *cough* white cheddar flavor. Maybe it'll surprise me, but it sounds horrifying. Like a TMNT pizza concoction kind of horrifying. The "savory" ones also have a "everything bagel" flavor (yawn?) and BBQ...which I could see working since some flavored nuts already do that. edit: Interesting. Not bad. Both cheese and nut flavors are very light. Can't say I'd buy it again. Last edited by IndigoErth; 08-15-2023 at 04:09 PM. |

Same thing for breakfast every morning: oats with diced apples, walnuts, curd cheese and some non-sugar peanut butter.

Banquet Mega Bowls Country Fried Chicken.
Never tried one, prob not healthy, but needed something cheap-ish and easy. Not bad, would get again. But I'm sorry... these aren't "white meat patties" in it, these are what we normally call chicken nuggets. Lol |

A thick dish of nachos -- chips, taco meat, sharp cheddar, refried beans, and "sea legs" (aka the imitation crab meat) on top -- as is New Years Even tradition in our house.
As usual... stopped with about 25% of the pile left, but the night is young. edit: A loose chunk version of the fake crab... Never seen the unappetizing "stick" version I'm seeing online after checking common names for it. |

When you know you're a fan, because you notice the only one missing is Splinter. Regular caramel popcorn would have resolved that.
