Sushi from one of our many Japanese restaurants here. I like the tuna, salmon, yellowfin, white tuna, eel and sweet egg.

They might be weird to people who didn't grow up with them, but finally tried my batch of pickled beet eggs I did up a couple weeks ago. Turned out awesome. Never tried making a legit recipe before.

Now to try to resist the urge not to share. Lol (Why did it have to turn my pic...)

I just got done having a Japanese snack of Dorayaki which is a Japanese double pancake with red bean filling in the middle. Really good, but don't pay attention to the nutrition facts, because they're loaded with the bad stuff.

I went to Texas Roadhouse today for a late lunch with my mom and stepdad and I had the grilled chicken salad. Even though it was healthy, I probably will go back to getting beef tips, because the salad I ate was kind of boring.

Those rolls with the butter is great. Also, I went to the Mount Prospect, IL location. That's about 5 miles from where I live. I have a friend who goes to his location in Bloomingdale, IL.

Later today gonna have some Indian food that a co-worker recommended I try.

Awesome! Bloomingdale was my old stomping ground growing up! You should see some of the videos online of the miserable desert that Stratford Square Mall has become.

I haven't been there in decades...

I know, before I lived here in Arlington Heights, I lived in Geneva and before that Glendale Heights. I had to leave Geneva 4 months after my dad passed 18 months ago, because the inheritance wasn't enough to finish buying off the house and my disability benefits are too low to cover all the bills. I lost my father which led me to lose half my stuff to an estate sale, and I lost my house of 19 years.

I remember Stratford Square Mall and I haven't been there in a few years because there's not much there anymore. They even had a Round 1 Bowling Alley in the mall, but it went out of business; probably has something to do with the expensive cost. I mean $47 for 3 games for 2 people.

Now I live near Woodfield Mall and I may go to the JC Penny store there to get some fancy clothes so I can get ready to apply for a job at my local Best Buy. My sister goes to Woodfield over Stratford because Woodfield is much busier than Stratford.

It's cold outside compared to yesterday's near record high, I had to cook some udon soup. The soup was made wish dashi, mirin, soy sauce and a little sugar. Then I boiled frozen udon noodles. On top in my Japanese soup bowl I had fish cake (it has a pink spiral shape in the center), eggs, green onions and seaweed. I love culture foods, especially Japanese and Chinese, but I fear I've gained way too much weight and I can feel it.

After a resistance band workout this afternoon, I ate 4 guacamole with egg on top toast and water with grape flavoring. I'm trying to lose weight (and I have to lose a lot) so I can get my body the look I should of had 20 years ago when I was a young man. I like to get the body of a wrestler hunk that wears trunk briefs in the ring.

Baked Alaskan cod and cottage cheese with Mrs. Dash seasoning. I figure since I had avocado toast with egg on top after my workout, something full of my favorite nutrient (protein) would be a great dinner.
