Wish I was a journalist so people would repost every idle thought that popped into my head.

Most so called "journalists" aren't even that anymore, they're just company promoted bloggers. Just create several social media accounts (i.e. YouTube, Instagram, Twitter) and make criticisms on anything or anyone while having an entertaining shtick. It's basically 90% of the popularity and influence found online now.

Why Jasmine doesn't bear her belly in the movie:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/...din/1213171001

Also, why the scene with Jasmine seducing Jaffar to trick him wasn't adapted from the cartoon and, instead, replaced with an "empowerment anthem."

Even that scene was cut????!!!! No slave girl Jasmine seducing Jafar????!!!

Now thats the last straw, and I have lost any tiny glimmer of hope I had of seeing this movie.

I don't mean as far as murdering Splinter, but think of the possibilities if censors were not an issue.
Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

Here's a clip of Jasmine's new song "Speechless".

Also, as most of you know Naomi Scott, who stars as Jasmine in this movie, played Kimberly in the Power Rangers reboot a few years ago. Well, Becky G who played Trini recorded a Spanish version of "A Whole New World".

I want to be surprised at the stupidity of it all, but...

The film had a solid hold during its second weekend by making an estimated $42.3 million and has so far grossed $185 million in North America and about $446 million worldwide.

Also here is a brief clip of "A Whole New World".

Here’s how Guy Ritchie bet low expectations and made the movie a hit.

Lea Salonga, who provided Jasmine's singing voice in the original, loved Naomi Scott and the new song, "Speechless". She might want to try singing it one day.

I went back to see the movie today and this time it was in 3D. I was still smiling throughout the screening and felt like I was once again reliving my childhood. Plus, I was moving around in my seat to the beat of the show-stopping energetic numbers. Naomi Scott's performance and singing were just as great as I remembered.

On Wednesday, the film crossed the $200 million mark in North America and it has also reached the $500 million mark worldwide. It has really defied expectations to those who doubted it would be successful.

‘Aladdin’ Rides Past $500M At Global Box Office, Grants Disney Top 3 Spots Of 2019 Domestically

I didn't think that Disney would release a full clip so soon with the movie only heading into its third weekend in theaters, but here is the full version of "A Whole New World".

The Sega Genesis end credits rendition of the song is underrated, IMO:

I have no idea why Disney bother making movies anymore. At this point they could just release a clip-show of their old stuff every three months and let the media do the rest.

"Randomly generated Disney clip-real 02/19 surpasses randomly generated Disney clip-real 11/18 at box-office". - Screen Flunkies

"The ghost of Buddy Ebsen comments on the slightly sped-up songs clipped out of the Jungle Book". - PR Regurgitatior Weekly.

Actually going to the trouble of making something seems like a waste of money.
