Thanks for the kudos, a lot of work goes into making these look as best as I can make 'em.

Aerial Butt Drop - Trying to get this to behave like Super Mario's ground pound thing that he's always doing.

Air Heavy Punch - Handclap animation replaces the Elbow Drop which is now a command normal

New Standing Light Kick - A bit clumsier and less sure footed Bebop

Custom Get Hit Frames pretty proud of these, more to come folks...

Didn't B use the gun like for a HP in a few episodes or his crowbar also has used a chain.

Also remember the episode of Rhinoman and Mighty Hog use as a special or mega move.

A Special his ball and chain from NES Manhattan Project.

KO sound when he cries "MAMMAAAAAAAAAAA!"

if you get to this point:
A Taunt: He lift his glasses looks at the opponent (in an episode he quoted "Man, and I thought I was ugly", than looks at the player breaking the 4th wall like they did in the toon

Those are some great suggestions, Halfshell I'll try to incorporate that taunt idea. I really need .wav audioclips of Bebop from the classic toon. He doesn't have much of a personality without 'em.

I plan on giving him a few specials with a chain or maybe a spiked ball-mace attached to a chain as a secondary weapon. Maybe something that reels the opponent in, like Scorpion's spear from Mortal Kombat!

Sprited this new axe kick move

Also Here's Bebop's Color Palette Template if any of you guys wanna try your hand at making some alternate outfit choices for him

I've already got a few done for him so far:

The separated colors on the eyes kinda makes me wanna see a variant with 3D glasses, if you can think of a good excuse, haha.

Otherwise, my suggestion is a palette based on his Super Mutation, unless of course that's gonna be a special of some kind.

edit: I'm dumb, the anime palette is based on this. I was thinking it was from one of the NES games for some reason.

Awesome work dcat! I'm always impressed by your attention to detail. All the nuances that you incorporate into the sprites, add more layers of intrigue and excitement for your work.

I haven't been interested in the franchise with the Nick series and the Bay movies for some time, but seeing your work is sparking some of the interest again. I don't know if I've said it before, but your meticulous work and passion really stands out well and makes me wish you were involved in making TMNT video games in some official capacity.

Will B be interacting with other characters?

For an idle, like you did with Krang, and give B his snorting?

This Bebop actually looks hella sweet in the 2012 colors.

Where's the Archie palette from? I don't have most of the series directly at my fingertips but I'm guessing it's from early in the run? I remember some palette errors in the beginning.

if not use as a special, how bout might hog fly in, hovers, crash lands, tears off the super hero outfit saying "I hate being a good guy" into his normal clothes under his super hero outfit for an intro?

I saw it on the TMNT wiki page.
It looked very unique for an official palette so I had to include it.

That's the idea, I want to have nods to the other versions even if the classic is my favorite. The variety of different official iterations and alternate takes and approaches to the character can give me some jumping off points for attack ideas or character intros, so its all good here.

Yes, Bebop will be interacting with my other characters so I need as many clips or banter between him and any adversary really as possible.

Halfshell, kudos & thanks so much for the audio rips! I really like the Mighty Bebop suggestion, this is a great idea. Just like The Simpsons characters from Konami Arcade would appear onscreen when you inserted an extra coin to continue. There's even a Homer Simpson character by Warner that has this special pre-fight introduction as well so I can check that out for reference.

---
I'm currently spriting a chain / spiked chain mace ball Special attack for Bebop. New moves are always pretty meticulous at the outset but once I have a few base sprites to manipulate and crop together the ball gets rolling a bit quicker.

I'll probably be updating the character palette once I add more elements to the character, still need to update his Monster Truck sprites from TMNT3 Manhattan Project... more to come.

Bebop and or Rocksteady (if you make him) always a good interaction, a good example in the second episode when they both rush at the toitles, they head butt each other (with the hanna barbara sound effect included).

Also why not make the character interact for mirror matches?

I like what I see, dcat. If you want defensive manuvers with the character you can have a manhole cover shield. It came with the original figure.

On the Shredder sprite, why shirtless? He needs a gray tunic.

In the Episode Atlantis Awakes (S7E23) Where Bebop becomes falsify King of Atlantis, he has a few negative interactions with Shredder, like Shred is thinks he's in charge and king bebop "deserves respect", etc. Only thing, James Avery doesn't not provide the voice of Shredder, but I can still get the audio if you want to use King Bebop arguing with Shredder as an intro.

Bebop doesn't have a lot of speaking parts as for just mumbo jumbo talking and interacting with Rock. And a lot of them has music or heavy sound effects.
I have a few here from various episodes
_____________
Bebop and Donatello ( Ep: Shredder's New Sword/S7 E8 )

Don: "This is gonna be a snap!" http://www.mediafire.com/file/cqukxe..._be_a_snap.mp3
Bebop: "Yeah, for me. You're gonne Get snapped" http://www.mediafire.com/file/e9bwfb...t__snapped.mp3
There is a sound of Bebop tapping a club in his hand, but its one of the best i can find without alot of music in the background)

Bebop and Don ( Ep : Turtles on the Orient Express/S7E10 )
Don: "Strike one, try again" http://www.mediafire.com/file/dujg3q..._try_again.mp3
Bebop: "Oh yeah? Well strike two shellback and you're out!" http://www.mediafire.com/file/x0537k...strike_two.mp3

THANK YOU HALFSHELL!! this is excellent, any and all information and audio clips provided are definitely much appreciated. And you've sure done a lot here, wow. I can't explain enough how grateful I am for the assist here, the spritework with this guy can get pretty grueling and any contributions to the character that make my job that much easier get us closer to a finished MUGEN character. Kudos, you'll be getting a character creation shout-out in the README file once he's done for sure!!

I really like that idea, I already made a blocking sprite but I think I'll go back and add your sewer lid idea since its a nod to the nostalgia of the old action figure!!
Shredder appears shirtless because the torso is a beige color but notice its a different color than his arms

More random audio:

"Say your prayers" http://www.mediafire.com/file/5pwlu0...ur_prayers.mp3 (for an attack)

Shredder: "Move before I pound you into the ground like a tent peg" http://www.mediafire.com/file/2q56he...a_tent_peg.mp3
(from episode Atlantis Awakes, S7E23, good for Bebop and Shredder interact)

I have a suggestion for an intro:
(Bebop is player one, but comes in on player two side) Bebop comes in his his Atlantian King robe being carried on a throne by Alatanticians, they put him down, they walk off. Bebop stands up, throne fades away. they interact

Shredder: "So help me you insufferable pork brain..." http://www.mediafire.com/file/8zs5z1...pork_brain.mp3
Bebop: "Silence I'm the boss now, Shred head" http://www.mediafire.com/file/1elwb8...Shred_head.mp3
Shredder: "That does it!" http://www.mediafire.com/file/gh2zur...at_does_it.mp3
(from episode Atlantis Awakes, S7E23, good for Bebop and Shredder interact)

Shredder in player one spot blur dashes across Bebop the player two behind bebop, and Bebop's king attire falls off revealing his street clothes and by then bebop hops back into player one position. ready to fight.

Great! Here is the shield in question:

I was thinking it was inspired by the odd choice of a Caucasian shirtless Shredder with a bluish helmet taking the form of the original Shredder action from from 1988.

If Bebop has a gun in one hand and a shield in the other.. how's he gonna punch?

and a low energy required special, just have him use his blaster and randomly shoot everywhere in front of him like most his 87 cartoon does.

Also will there be impliments of ofthe universe/carnations of his counterparts from other sources: i.e. Nick, comics, turtles forever, movies, etc.?

Bebop wouldn't have an assist unless you count Slash. Slash was only a pet to Bebop in the 87 toon, while other carnations Nick he was Raphs pet. Unless you make Slash his own character, 87' Bebop would be the only one to use him properly.

Also Bebop and Rocksteady made a brief cameo in Sonic the Hedgehog comics:

maybe for his Vs screen if you are able to modify here an idea art:

Good point, shield blocking sprite idea is scrapped

Classic Beat 'Em up Intro Poses based on thugs from Final Fight.

Frozen sprite

New Crouching Heavy Punch and Air Heavy Kick animations. Drop Kick knocks Bebop to the ground if it connects or is blocked by the opponent.

Belly Bump, this replaces Bebop's Standing Heavy Punch. Not sure if it should knock the opponent down or just push them back at the moment. It currently functions as a wall bounce but I'm leaning towards removing this effect so Bebop can have more grounded normal combos.

Throw Animations
