The same Konami that made a bunch of mediocre to sh*tty TMNT games towards the end.

So tired of this 'Konami will save us all' bullcrap. Get out of the past for a minute or two.

I'd like to see Wayforward do a TMNT 3DS game, personally.

I was under the impression that Activision's license only lasted three games.

The iOS game wasn't published by Activision. It wouldn't matter anyway because if it was they'd have four out right now.

Another Activision game, and potentially based on the new movie?

Hold on, I need to find just the right GIF for this one...

Yeah, that'll do.

Upcoming "danger of ooze" will be peace of junk like "out of the shadows" I think.
P.S. The only hope for good and enjoyable tmnt-game is on fan-projects.
So if you want to play it - support fan devs who on your opinion deserve it!

Wayforward would probably be the current developer most likely to make a good TMNT game, I agree.

Danger of the Ooze? Sounds like a season two game tie-in.

Nice to see a TMNT game for PS3 though. I'll probably pick it up for that instead of 3DS like last year's game.

Oh how I wish Activision would let WayForward develop a TMNT game.

Mmm...

Looks to be yet another trashy, run-of-the-mill children's licensed game,no different from the likes of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures or what have you.

A crying shame, the TMNT games could have truly not only copied their ancestors, but improved upon them as well, but instead they choose to go down this route...

My vision of a TMNT game for the new millennium is a game that takes the classics and improves upon them, instead of merely aping them.

* The playable character roster would be expanded beyond just the Turtles. Each character would have unique movesets and statistics. For example, April O' Neil would rely on her psychokinetic abilities to fight, lifting and throwing enemies aside as well as breaking their brains with psychic forces. Metalhead would be the walking arsenal, using his array of cannons and tools to fend off his enemies. Leatherhead would be the slow-yet-strong bruiser of the group, able to access a crocodilian rage to overcome the enemy. Karai? She'd totally have a stance system allowing her to change between woman and serpent. Slash could just curl up and roll through the opposition, or smash them with a club. Casey Jones would pull out all his sporting goods to take on the enemies. Splinter could have the abilities of all four Turtles but overall be much weaker.
* Levels will be multi-layered and contain several alternate paths, potentially allowing players to go through the level much faster than they normally would. Perhaps the game would even have branching storyline paths, allowing the player to choose which levels to go to?
* A variety of enemies, rather than just types of Foot and Mouser.

According to Activision, TMNT: Danger of the Ooze blends classic 2D fighting and platforming with the 3D art direction of the TV show. Here is how Activision sets up the story.

"The game quickly heats up as Shredder, Tiger Claw, and a new army of mutants threaten the streets of New York, forcing Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo to take action into their own hands."

Activision says the unique thing about TMNT: Danger of the Ooze is its "vast, interconnected, non-linear game world," which will reward players for exploration and "creative thinking." Players will have powers, upgrades, and equipment at their disposal as they move through New York, battling bosses.

TMNT: Danger of the Ooze doesn't lock you into one of the four hero turtles, either. Players can freely swap between them, and each has his own unique play strengths and skills. Overall, Activision says combat is "fast-paced," and will feature martial arts-style attacks with combos, counters, and finishers. But if that's not your style, the game also lets you perform stealth-based attacks.

It looks like WayFoward is developing the game. Where on Earth did Microsoft get this information about the game:
Quote:
The Turtles are up to their shells in trouble in this latest game for Xbox 360 based on their newest movie. Taking on Shredder and his mutant allies, Rahzar and Tokka, the famous green heroes in a half shell must capture and destroy the dangerous ooze to make the world safe again for Turtles, humans, and pizza.
