I don't like to look for these things too closely, but it reminds me of the scene in SOTO.

I imagine we'll be seeing a quite a few homages/ references to the film over the next few issues, it is something this series is known for after all.

I gotta say I am starting to warm up to this series. I'm not the biggest fan of all the romances or Mona Lisa, but Jennika is growing on me, particularly as she becomes more of grouch. I also really like the design for adult Lita. I do like the sort of oppressed people fighting for liberty, with Sally as mayor to be and Mike doing the radio station stuff. And I liked the first three issues of Jennika II.

Question, is Last Ronin supposed to tie into this universe? It certainly doesn't tie into Mirage.

I was sort of dreading Tokka and Rahzar, but Campbell's art is so good I've come around.

No, The Last Ronin is entirely it's own thing and isn't tied to any other comic universe that we've seen.

I rather liked the fight scene, we rarely get to see the turtles pull into their shells. And expectations defied, B+R and N’Sho-v actually seemed to have the upper hand on account of just being brutal and knowing good application of weapons.

I confess I...don’t really know what to think of the battle of the bands bit but I love the artwork. That last page was stunning.

finally got to read. good fight i swear bebop and rocksteadys theme should be this.

love that little litas already pretending to be a time mistress. so who will jenny be picking for her band members since she didn't actually reveal it in this issue. tokka and rahzar are gonna destroy the turtles backyard.

Pretty good issue and I agree it was a decent skirmish. Also noticed the little nod to the '87/ Archie bandanas with the shorter tie-offs on Little Lita's new pink one.
