Thank you! The back drop is the Subway Terminal by Extreme Sets. Lots of fun!

These are the first higher end figures I've owned and not sure how far I can push them in terms of posing, if you know what I mean.
Would be cool to get some ideas too
I still haven't given my SHF Turtles a shelf yet for display, being the new hottness of my figures they stand within arms reach with my computer.

But I did take a series of pic of Leo to see how well he could get into actual sword poses. It's not extreme looking, but it does show some of the poses the arms can do thanks to the amazing butterfly joints.

I just bought my first one (Leo)! Super psyched to for him to arrive. This will be my first SH Figuarts ever.

That's indeed the Marvel Legends katana, from my Epic Heroes Deadpool. It's the best katana I have in 1:12th scale when it comes to length and able to hold it 2-handed.

I feel like it needs it, but also that doing so might undermine the toon aesthetic.

I would, but I don't know how to do it without paint rub on the tight fit of the hands

Honestly you could wrap it with threading tape (from the hardware aisle), it would make it white, would rupees for and does have the look of cloth plus you can remove it without permanent damage.

Thinking of maybe parting with my Figuarts Turtles. Not 'cause I don't love 'em--I do--but because they don't match my photo style very well, and I'm more limited in what I can do with them, versus the NECA 1/4 figures.
