I'll give it a listen...good to see a wide variety of talents pulled in. Should be fun.

Just finished it, it was pretty entertaining. Not much was said that I didn't already know, but it was a nice treat nonetheless. Eastman is awesome as always.
Would love to see you guys get Peter Laird. |

Good stuff. Loved the story about Steve Barron "storyboarding" essentially with scenes from Vol. 1.
I'd love to see the Barron Cut of TMNT. Love that Kevin's favorite Casey is Elias Koteas. Love that guy. The Peter Laird question was great Andrew...or maybe it was more Kevin's answer to it.

I don't think (unless Andrew is a miracle worker) that Peter Laird will be our next interview, but I would really love to pick his brain, and see how things are on the other side of that Dynamic Duo. Until the next interview, we should be doing an actual normal episode...though until we do it, who's to say what's normal? You'll have to wait and see what that entails. |

This is great. I'm about 30 minutes in to it and I've learned a lot more than I ever knew. I'm a 34 year old that watched the OT and collected the toys but never bothered to dig into the history or background. So this is all new to me. Keep up the good work man. I look forward to future episodes.

Like CyberCubed said, not too much groundbreaking, but good opinions with some entertainment and some jokes. I enjoyed the thought that the Nick show is the DC Teen Titans of series along with the portion on voice acting and that good acting can make you forget that its a celebrity and presume its that character. If Jephael's voice sounds like Scott Menville's, plastroncafe's voice reminds me a bit of Susan Blu's. Hope to see more episodes soon!

Are podcasts still a thing in the 2020s?

I honestly don't think I've ever listened to a podcast in my entire life. Isn't it just like a long youtube video...just without any video? I mean if I want to listen to someone rant about something for 2 hours I'd rather skim through a video.

have you ever listened to talk radio of any kind or listened to news without watching it?
That is essentially a non-internet podcast. |

Also, if MoTU can have at least two podcasts with 100+ episodes (At least one does I think the second does as well) I am sure you can figure out a weekly TMNT podcast.
Potential Subjects: HIstory of the comics How do you feel about characters/dynamics between characters Current events like the comic upcoming media RUMORS (this is a big pull if you can stay on the ball) Retrospectives of different parts of the fandom Product/toy reviews History of 2nd hand sales (what is the most expensive turtle ever sold?) You just have to keep thinking on subjects, especially multipart ones. Also...don't consider a million subs to be successful. Look for the thousand mark eventually down the line. |

Exactly. It's like everybody has a podcast nowadays.
