Is Tyrese in this joint or only Duhamel is returning from the original trilogy?

It looks like Optimus is about to kill Bumblebee, But I noticed his eyes have a purple glow, Perhaps he's under some kind of mind control?

I wonder if the movie will have a TMNT reference in it? you know how Out Of The Shadows had a Transformers reference with Bumblebee.
What if we see someone cosplaying as Mikey in one scene. |

Ugh, after having watched the entirety of the G1 cartoon and still watching The Headmasters, I'd forgotten how ugly Bayformers are. The trailer didn't do much for me, just reminded me about how much of a masterpiece the JG1 continuity is compared to the Bayverse.

Well some will complain but I still like these movies. They're pretty cool.
I do wish we'd get a live action Beast Wars one day. I know it wouldn't make sense to include them in these movies though.

I haven't gotten to Beast Wars yet but what's the appeal? I'm usually not a fan of 3D animation, pretty much hate it except for rare occasions, but I've heard from a lot of people that Beasties was good. What do you think about it?

Anyway it was just really good overall. Good characters and storylines. There were no humans which I think helped it. It allowed it to stay serious and focus only on thier feud. Cool designs imo. I mean wild animals and some dinosaurs are a nice alternative to the usual vehicles and aircraft. I really liked when turned TransMetal. Beast Machines was pretty good too and I recommend it if you like BW. It's a straight continuation. I personally didn't like the designs as much though.

I like BM for different reasons, but I wouldn't recommend it...it plays fast and loose with too many elements and is kind of a downer, sucking all the fun out of what Beast Wars achieved.

You don't really have to watch Beast Machines to enjoy BW Neo, the Japanese continuity is different from the Western continuity (I.E Japan pretend the G1 series finale in the States never happened to justify Headmasters etc)

I didn't know that about BM. I knew about them skipping season 4/The Rebirth. So Beast Machines is out-of-continuity, or it just takes place in a later time?

Considering how Beast Machines ends, it definitely takes place much later in the timeline. I think it's still official canon. There was supposed to be a follow-up series made afterwards called Trans-Tech or something, but Hasbro chose to import the Car Robots/Robots in Disguise anime over instead (apparently cheaper)

The song in this trailer is a cover of the Flaming Lips's Do You Realise? The cover is done by Ursine Vulpine.
