It's quiet in here?

Hardly any one posts in this part of the forums, dang. Is it due to the lack of new episodes?

I don't have much to say about the show (other than voicing my dislike of it..haha!). I have to say though, I am curious to see when Shredder appears!! What do you suppose Draxxum's role will be when Shredhead finally debuts? Will he willingly bow down to Shredder or will there be a power struggle?

I'm also looking for the last action figures that were released from the show. Haven't found Albearto or Foot Lieutenant in stores yet.

That's about all I have to say about RISE.

I guess there's just not that much excitement for this show. Not that surprising given how this is a forum largely made up of older fans, and how this show has very little in common with previous TMNT material. Even though the last show released episodes at an abyssmal rate, the forum was still active until a few weeks after the series concluded. I guess that it more closely resembled what's expected from TMNT is what helped it keep up the hype?

The funny thing is that the last show, with it's confused writing and budget constraints, might actually be a worse show in general.

Makes me wonder how the show is doing in the ratings/merchandising realm.

Yeah, hiatus paired with the fact that this one really doesn't offer a whole lot to discuss much of the time...

It terms of ratings, it does roughly the same as any other show on Nickelodeon. Though ratings for Nickelodeon are dropping in general.

Streaming viewership and merch sales are impossible to find.

I’m just gonna pop in here to say, I like it. It’s a lot of fun and I think it’s good that they did something dramatically different after 2012. I think it has a great deal of potential but it’s far from delivering on a gripping story. They also introduce a bunch of stuff that barely gets explored and that is frustrating. However, their ability to basically tell any kind of story they want, has lead to some hilarious episodes. I’m disappointed to see it get buried on Nicktoons but the stupid scheduling annoyed me enough to just buy a season pass to keep watching it, so it doesn’t really matter when it airs, at least for me. It cannot be easy for the actual target demographic to see it though.

How are the toys selling? When looking for the 2 pack of the '87 cartoon sets I noticed a few each of two characters Meat Sweats and whatever the foot soldiers are no other characters.

Well Toys R Us doesn't exist anymore so that alone is a huge blow.
