"Odyssey"

This "teaser trailer" may give you some idea of the general tone and story of "Odyssey," which Jim Lawson is doing the majority of.

Or watch it direct here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4M_uYZs7kQ

*edit: and the "full" trailer here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIzaivKf3QU

*edit: also a Shogun teaser here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Db-Uob0O7-8

*edit: new trailer:

It'll be about 110 pages, and the method of release is undecided. If you'd like to see it on shelves, maybe let IDW know.

The team: There's some work from Arseniy/DemonAlukard (who has very generously given a lot of his own money to help keep the momentum of pages coming from Jim... we're pretty much partners in this, at this point) in it, Angie Sternitzke is doing some painting and CGI work for her two pages, Mark Feltham is doing a page (toned by Courtland Brugger/sabacooza), and there's a pretty important page from Tokka in it near the end. And of course the Dan Berger 3 page prologue. Cover (which is not a wraparound) is pencilled by Rick McCollum and inked by Bill Anderson ("Twilight of the Ring," "Juliet's Revenge").

Very nice! 90 pages is almost a graphic novel! If one believes in such things...

I've been excited about this for a while. What an awesome looking book.

Yeah, then they used the regular one for 29, and went back to that "new one" for 30.

Sorry for asking a n00b question but quickly lurking over the thread I didn't get a straight answer, so this is another comic done in the style of the Image ending? But for Mirage and with the multiverse? Is it supposed to be an ending or what exactly?

It's intended to be a Mirage ending, but not a Volume 4 conclusion. Elderly Mirage TMNT are the main characters and both the Multiverse and time travel (moreso time travel than the Multiverse) are involved. The Archie universe in particular gets a lot of play, and I think fans of the Mutanimals will be pleased.

Off topic but in image #25 you wrote, how did raph's eye become healed halfway through the book? I was reading it on my phone so I may have missed something.

The answer is near the beginning of the book in what Baxter tells Don, and is the same answer as what brought back Leo's hand.

That's the first time I've ever seen a Lawson Venus. I can't wait to see how this story pulls everything together!

Stop asking. Seriously. I'm sure he's super busy with his own life and the delivery service. Just wait for it.

I agree, it has been a long time. What are the odds we get it this summer?

I feel for you guys. I broke down in March and imported the hardcover and was pretty mad at myself for splurging, but now that it's been this long, I'm glad I did.

I have to keep asking... I might forget and if my copy never shows up, there really is no recourse at this point for a refund. Not that I think they won't be shipped but because USPS has been stellar at misdelivery of mail as of late... Plus it had been about two weeks since the last comment... It was time.
