What's interesting though is that the 2012 series is not only in re-runs on Nicktoons Holland but also is aired three times a day, which was more often than Rise was ever shown.

Ratings are everything here.
Nickelodeon Sweden at least complete season.

Wow, at least someone still puts 2012 on. I rarely come across it now here. I hadn't expected it to disappear quite the way it has, but maybe they're just trying to force all the attention onto 'Rise.'

I do feel for 'Rise' fans if that branch of Nicktoons doesn't even bother to complete the season, but I guess a country that still cares about ratings ditching it says a lot.

Here in the UK, Nickelodeon are airing new episodes at 4am. They don't seem to airing repeats either.

The 2018 TMNT deserves to be along with Next Mutation as one of the worst incarnations. If this has been cancelled, then good riddance.

The show is being removed from both Nickelodeon and Nicktoons globally.

So if this is indeed the end of Rise, could the Netflix movie be sort of a grand send off/finale?

Shredder could've done more than blow up the Channel Six building.
I don't mean as far as murdering Splinter, but think of the possibilities if censors were not an issue.
Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

Just looking at the link, I'm wondering if it's just that there is yet no schedule in these places rather than officially dropped. Like they are happy to air them much later. I know we were usually at least a month behind on the last show in season 5...though apparently we got season 4's finale before you guys? As for the finale arc, it was something like 6 months after the show ended, I didn't think they were going to bother airing.
4am airing seems weird though, glad they didn't do that with the last show.

What episodes were these countries up to? If they were behind, I'm wondering if they just simply got caught up and then decided to not bother with repeats and are waiting on any new ones rather than having pulled the series completely?

Plus that absurd 4am time slot... maybe it would just make more sense now to move the whole thing to Netflix and the Nick app (I assume they still have it on the app?), including whatever new ones they have sitting around waiting on a hiatus that's just giving it time to be forgotten and wind up dead in the water before it ends.

As much as this one has gotten the mental side-eye from me, it would still be a shame for it not to finish up its second season at least and show us what their ultimate intentions were for it story-wise.

What the next move be for TMNT on the small screen if it does indeed end with a drawn out season 2?

Did the announcement of a straight to Netflix animated film mention that it would be Rise of the TMNT or can be an original or focus on a previous incarnation?
