I just want to applaud the amount of work and thought that has went into this! I just wish I had something meaningful to contribute!

Also, wikipedia says this:

The Christmas Aliens was originally intended to be the third season premiere. It got moved towards the middle of the third season for it to air closer to Christmas.

You rock! Updated my timeline accordingly.

I'd love to have Turtles Forever in 2009 for the actual 25th Anniversary, but I couldn't justify the 2 year gap when there's no real evidence on how much (if any) time has passed since BTTS.

The comic fan in me would love to have Return to New York as Christmas 2003, but it doesn't really work.
Haha, me too man. Just doesn't work out.

Thank you. Um... "Same as it never was" would spawn from the fact that Donatello is missing during the events of "Exodus". So it would be a totally different timeline from there on out (Demon Shredder would never be ressurected, the turtles would never go to 2105 since Cody wouldn't be born, etc. etc.)

What about "The Golden Puck" episode? Was that another winter season or was it part of the same year as the second season happened?

The good thing about that episode is there's nothing in it to tie it down to be before or after any particular episode. So we can just assume it takes place after "Return of The Justice Force" and it was a November snow. Or even after "The Big Brawl".

Good eye, though.

I'm gonna go ahead and put on TWO nerd hats here and point out a timeline flaw....

In Samurai Tourists, the guys take Usagi and Gen to see Yankee Stadium. Only problem is, the Yankees lost during the first round of the playoffs in 2005 and were done playing in early October, and this episode aired after the Halloween episode.

Is it possible to switch the two episodes? Or do they have to go in that order?

In-show baseball seasons could play out differently than real life.

True, true. Just trying to stir up some discussion.

It never actually shows anyone playing though, maybe they were just showing them the stadium and the sound effect was added in for the hell of it.

I have further proof that "The Christmas Aliens" takes place before the Invasion arc!

Leatherhead's not at the Christmas feast. He was missing after "What a Croc" and didn't come back until they found him in Bishop's lab in "World's Collide" then after that he lived near the guys until disappearing again in Exodus.

Also, could a mod possibly sticky this thread for me?

Leatherhead's absence isn't much to go on. He was also mysteriously absent from the final battle with the tengu shredder for no apparent reason

It's not the ultimate piece of evidence but it's something. There's a lot more evidence "for" than "against".

Why do you say Ch're'll re-establishes the Foot Clan? Was there any proof the Foot existed before Ch'rell? Also according to the official site page for the episode "Timing Is Everything" it says the turtles were oozed in 1990 and "The Shredder Strikes" takes place in 2000. http://www.ninjaturtles.com/cartoon/...opses/133.html Also what what about the so called "Shredder Wars" that take place after Turtles Forever?

Hey TotheNines, would you mind if I put a modified version of your timeline on my website? I'd really like to use it!

I'm assuming that Ch'rell re-established the Foot Clan, because the Demon Shredder calls upon "fallen Foot Soldiers" (who are wearing feudal Japanese armor) to fight the turtles in the episode that Karai almost dies. So I'd say Demon Shredder started the Foot Clan first.

The 1990 and 2000 things just don't line up. There's no in-show reference to those years, and even if they were "canon".... that would make the Turtles 10 years old when they first fight Shredder. Didn't happen like that.

I've been led to believe that The Shredder Wars could simply have been an alternate time-line. If not, I'd put it in with were Serling goes back to the future.

Here's my take on the timeline: TMNT Canon

Feel free to read the e-mail conversation between me and Mr. Berger first. You may find it quite illuminating!

Peter said the Shredder Wars thing was meant to be the future on his blog. Also the TMNT4Kids guy who post on this forum said the Shredder Wars likely would had happened if BTTS got another season.
