No! You completely misunderstood me. I told you I'd love to see them on caf in MY collection, not yours!

I was looking through a pile of comics, and I found where my copy of Boris the Bear #1 was hiding. Now, if you know your TMNT history, then you might know what the significance of this issue is.
When it comes to this copy, Kevin and Peter had "commented" on it, and so I've scanned it up for you to see http://www.comicartfans.com/galleryp...?piece=1019224

I clicked the link what a great collection of art you have. Funny I was glancing through Stan's OA on CaF awhile back and quickly noticed a Usagi Yojimbo #127 cover....which it seems you are the proud owner. Congrats on such a great cover. From what I understand, Mr. Sakai keeps most of his published art.

Stan keeps all his original pages (bar three, I believe he's let go over the years - one as a wedding present, one as an offer he couldn't refuse, and one as a birthday gift to the guy who runs the Usagi website) but he does sell all the issue covers and painted art for tip-in plates etc.
Given the TMNT and Usagi crossover since the early days, there was no way I wasn't going to buy the Leo/Usagi piece that was in the SDCC program in 2009 for example. And I bought the cover to DH #127 because it was rather badass (Usagi isn't usually shown post battle on a cover) and Stan hadn't gotten another cover I did want back at that moment, so I used the money on that instead. Which reminds me, I have to ask him if he still has THAT cover still now he finally got it back, or whether it's eventually been sold now...

Unfortunately only thing I own from Mr Sakai(aside from comics) is a print he signed with Miyamoto walking through the snow. But perhaps one day I'll snag something frame worthy

Buying something isn't usually ever the problem in terms of availability (there's always a selection of covers, painted artwork, and standard portfolio art for sale), it's really down to how much you can spend. But you can usually get a b/w piece for $100-150.

I'll get around to the David Petersen piece in due course... first of all, a couple of quick sketchcards from Katie Cook...
And now the Dooney commission I requested... I think it's more than just sweet

This is only vaguely TMNT related (you'll see why), but hey, I can't get away with not showing it to you guys... been after this for four years...

It's even been given today's highlight award on CAF, so I'm somewhat proud
(even if my bank balance is attempting to kill me right now!)

Two new items... click through for bigger images of both.
First the Alex Deligiannis sketch cover for SHotFC. Secondly, the Kevin Eastman double spread artwork for Jetpack issues #3 and #4... it's taken a little time for it to get into my hands, but it's here eventually. Always gotta bet on the Shredder
