Agreed. Is Panel to Panel a good site though?

Panel to Panel is a great one.
I bought my Collected Book 3 and Soul's winter from there.
Collected book 1 and 2 is out of stock...Book 1 is completely out of stock but they said they would tell me when they obtained more collected book 2 books.
I will surely get future TMNT tpbs from PaneltoPanel

And are there anyone here who knows where i can find Tales of TMNT Collected Book 1. Maybe it might be present at a site Tho it is out of stock everywhere - even at Mirage's store - also buying from mirage internationally is really pain, there is not even PayPal, you have to order via old school mail, send the payment that way, etc...

I'm curious, how much does this book go for these days?

Haven't seen the 2007 version on eBay for a while, but the 1989 version is currently going for less than a fiver right now:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Collected-Tales-...item2a0d681fb2

A lot of TMNT trades seem to be in a price decline on eBay at the moment. A bunch of Tales Vol. 2 trades, which were previously going for astronomical amounts, are all under MSRP at the moment.

Might be a lull in the aftermarket TMNT trade paperback boom.

I'm curious what sort of asking price this has as well. I've been watching for at least six months and haven't seen one on eBay or anywhere. Venom managed to nab one though... this is my envy hat. It's green.

If anyone has a lead on a copy, PM me. I'd like this search to be over already.

Yeah, I honest-to-God lucked up on it about five days of actively searching for it. Some dude posted it on his new blogsite when I stumbled across it. I paid $9 dollars for the book and shipping worked out to $6 bucks so $15 total. This was this past November. Wild pointed me to the '89 Collected Tales, which I believe was about $15-$20.

If anyone lives in or near Portland, they had a handful of copies at this store:

http://www.excaliburcomics.net/

I was lucky to be stopping thru last year, not sure if they're still all there though.

I'm also looking for a copy. Just realised the significance of this collection last weekend and it seems I missed the train by about four years. Can't really find any on the internet except for some Australian site, but I'm concerned about the cost of shipping from there.

Heeeeeeey... Does that mean you have two now? :p (I think it was you who recently scored one cheap.)

Mind selling one cheap? ;)

Not me, and nupe. I like to score 'em cheap and keep 'em. Only Turtle comic I've let go of was the colored #1 reprint (I have several).

I did get a misprint #4, though.

How much did the #4 misprint cost you? I was watching the Mirage auction from a month ago, and it went all the way up to $250, as I recall. That's way too ridiculous for me. :p

Ok is anyone else ultra excited about this? Things from the past are finally being collected I hope it's good wooohoo!
Someone was asking me on Facebook what I thought this was worth to sell and I realized, I have no idea. It looks like there's no trace of it on eBay, Mycomicshop, or anything like that, and there hasn't been for ages. Any guess what it'd be running, abouts? This has to be super rare, at this point. I wonder, though, how many collectors even realize this ever existed?

I think most of the Mirage collections from that time period are pretty obscure.

My general advice when pricing something without a comp available is to price it at what it's worth to you. Are you happy with $50? Take $50. Or, if you're more patient, you can list it for $200 and see if you get any bites.
