I feel for you, buddy. That guy was like a brother to me for over 10 years. Being almost twenty that's an awful lot of time. It's not like it hurts or it isn't as bad as I expected. It's just that big feeling of indifference... odd. That might be the best word. Odd.

Am I allowed to ask, what you said?

Well, you certainly didn't ask that question our of the blue. So I just go and assume that you had such an experience lately.

I am really willing to give you advice, to help you wherever necessary, because times like these aren't easy. I might be a bit more useful if I knew the story...

You truly are a sweet and caring person, Anarky...

*sighs* I don't really want to go into it...

I made her upset and hurt, and now I'm upset and hurt about it too...

I really do hope that our friendship doesn't die..... She's my closest friend.

I'm not really looking for advise, Anarky... Just a little sympathy I guess...

*walks into cafe feeling cool.... and slips on a banana peel and lands (with a THUD!) on his ass*

*rubbing is brused ass* don't mean to butt into your guys conversation but I can sympathise with you Ryo... I lost a friend aswell... it was a long time ago and we were young (10 or 11) and he had to move, and we had a big argument about him not trying to stay or trying to get out of it somehow... I haven't heard from him since... its a terrible sense of loss... I can sympathise with you.... that friendship died... if shes a good friend don't let the friendship die... do whatever it takes.... I wish I'd tried alittle harder... but its over now...

*goes looking for someone to order a coffee and pillow from*

is it that kind of café?

Aw, shucks. But if it's a her, then you might have the bonus of the famous moodyness of women. I mean, when she calmed down, then she's hopefully going to see the world with other eyes. Whenever I have fights with my "sister" then we fight like hell, then we go our own ways, but the next day, we sort of feel this "This is silly. A hug would be way cooler"-thing. So then we sort of get all emotional, really cheesy and then we tell each other how it wasn't meant that way, and that we were plain mean.

Women are difficult in that way. They are getting upset over things we don't even realize that they possibly could get upset.

My best piece of advice (I don't care whether you want it or not, here it comes ) is, that you should, according to me, give it a little time. Then call her and meet her. There you apologise. But: Don't do it on the phone.

Er....thanks, guys...

Really though, Anarky...It has nothing to do with "moodyness"... It WAS my fault... I said some pretty hurtful things....... She has every right to be upset with me...

Yes, I know. SOmetimes it was my fault too. I mean, people see things differently when they had a break form the person they had to argue with. That's what always sort of helped me too. Getting a distance. Just a little.

*hugs Ryo*

I'm not sure much of what I can say here...

*shifts a bit*

I'm gonna be realistic here, and you may not wanna hear all that I'm gonna say. So, sorry. But...

Apologising may help. May. Or, well, maybe... not.

*big breath* Okay. Here's my hesitation with the subject. My guy, had a fight with a friend of his that was a girl, a few years ago now. They were friends, I think he said, for 20 years or so. Most of his life, he said. Anyway, it was his fault, he said. He knows that now. But they don't talk anymore, even though it was all fully admitted who was at fault. It hurt him real bad. It's... one of the reason's... well.... *ahem* I... really... don't wanna get into this.

*clears throat* Anyway, Ryo... if I may ask... and you don't have to answer this... Did... were you two a bit more than friends? I always had my suspicions with... well...

Look, as a woman (and, trust me guys... y'all are JUST as moody as we are sometimes. Trust me. ) I say apologise. Give it time to heal. Time is your friend here. Other than that, Ryo... I can offer you my shoulder, and my hugs.

I truly hope that it all works out for you.

Well, hopefully things will be back to normal...

I do care for her alot... but no, we're no couple, Jo Dawn...

I've had awful situations with half of my friends... but when it's with a really close friend... well... it really hurts then...

Everyone gets grouchy now and then. And sometimes we can't help but take it out on others. I guess the only thing you can do is find a way to meet her somehow and apologize. I'm sure she'll notice you're sincerely sorry.

Try to look on the bright side, maybe after this you two'll be even closer than before.

I know how it feels. Good luck.

Ryo, knowing the way you approach things and deal with people, I'll say this: One incident does not determine the entire makeup of one person. Being friends for so long just to let this mistake ruin it is a ludicrous idea. Harsh words get thrown all the time between two or more people who've developed a bond as strong as to classify as a friendship. I think the whole reason this is happening is most likely because she was shocked to hear you say whatever you said.

Given time, things will get better. Don't let any self-doubt creep into your mind. You're still a wonderful person with a wonderful outlook on life. A nice, quiet talk in a nice, quiet setting is a perfect way to end this fiasco.

Take care, and I hope that things smooth over for you.

Thank you, KROW and Mecha Cow...

I got a chance to speek to her, and we talked about it...

It effected us pretty hard...

At the end, we were hugging each other and crying...

I think it made us stronger as friends.

I'm so happy now!... She's my best friend... I could not stand the thought of her out of my life...

Well, you only get what you give. You're nice and caring. It's only natural that we should be the same to you, too.
