I feel as though the shading style helps the figures look more accurate but that just me I suppose
as long as its not overdone

I get what they were going for, but the toon lines and the two-tone front/back shading are about the only things I don’t like about these toys.

Yeah, not a fan. Not enough of an issue to rebuy them if they redid them, but the two-tone looks bad IMO.

I agree, Still love them, but I like wave 2 turtles more.

The two tone is more correct to the show but i am not a fan AS well and with the series 2 relase of no two tone turtles i did have to Ask if it was something Neca was going to do more with the foot,b&r etc.
This is wath randy told me if they was going to relase more one shade/tone figures.i guess it can change but this is how it is now.so just turtles In one shade/tone color.

This is just for the turtles as the colors on them were different in the cartoon show and the merchandising. The Wave 2 turtles are considered the "style guide" coloring

Fair warning, the coupon probably won't work for the NECA sets. They are not sold in the toy department and are likely considered collectibles instead of toys.

I can also confirm that the 25% off code does work. I ordered 2 Foot Soldiers as well.

Annoying that R&S are not up at the same time as the other three packs. I sure hope they don't make them a "in store" exclusive like they do with some other collectables.

They keep alerting they’re in stock but every time they aren’t available. Either they’re testing demand or they are gearing up. I got my foot sets as well
