Fan of 8 years looking for a place to lurk that's better than reddit.
Hello, I mostly write tmnt fanfiction. But I do like to lurk on discussion topics so I figured I should make an account. The TMNT Reddit is kind of slow, this place seems a bit more active.
I became a fan at age 15 when I watched the pilot of the 2012 cartoon on TV. I turned 16 a few days later but I felt like I grew up with the turtles through HS and college. I then went back and watched the 2003 cartoon, the bayverse movies, the 90's movies, the 2007 cgi film, and Batman vs. Tmnt. I am half way through the IDW comics and reading The Last Ronin. I don't collect action figures or anything (maybe in the future). I buy merch when it's available, like DVDs and clothing. Favorite version is 2012 but it sits kind of evenly with 2003. I didn't hate rottmnt but I have never had the urge to watch an episode more than once. I am pro-ship and pro-tcest. I couldn't find any rules against that here but I don't plan to talk about it anyways, that's what AO3 is for. I guess see you all around. Peace.

Welcome. My favourite version is 2003. Fav character is Raphael, though Leonardo is a close second. I don’t collect action figures either since I lost interest in toys around 11 years of age.

Welcome,. Great to see some fans who grew up with the 2012 cartoon finally entering this community.

Because of continuity and timeline errors, I've given up writing fanfiction based on the 1987-1996 animated television series.
