Daredevil the Series on Netflix

I just finished binge watching this show on Netflix...WOW! I think I enjoyed it more than any other Marvel production I've seen so far.

Charlie Cox, who was incredible as Owen on Boardwalk Empire is absolutely incredible as Matt Murdock.

Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk is simply amazing.

The show is brutally violent, and there are incredible fight scenes...

I planned on watching it yesterday, but I could not get Netflix to work on my playstations for anything. I really wanna check that show out.

Saw episode one and I am hooked.

The tone is perfect. It's dark and gritty, but not in a manufactured way like Gotham. It feels natural.

Music is spot-on. Actors are wonderful. Cinematography and directing is great as well.

It's very interesting to see a show whose main character can't even see himself. I have to constantly remind myself that Murdock can at best use his other heightened senses to figure out what's going on, and can't simply comprehend his surroundings visually.

Many clues in TV shows are gathered by the characters visually, like a label or writing of some kind; can a blind man be as effective at taking down a crime empire? Guess I'll see.

I love it, and I've heard nothing but overwhelming praise for the show from others. Will definitely continue.

Just finished the last episode. This series was just all around spectacular. I seriously hope we get to see an MCU version of Bullseye and Elektra appear in the "Defenders" mini series if they decide not to do another season.

I just read the single shot hallway fight scene in episode 2 is confirmed to be a real single shot...maybe one of the greatest scenes in television history.

I love the nods they did of those two. Even Stilt-Man got some love.

But yes, this was a great series. Finished it all under two days. Good acting, superb cinematography and action scenes, sharp writing and characterization, etc. This is my favorite version of Wilson Fisk, and Charlie Cox got the movie's bad taste out of my mouth.

I loved the sly reference to the time way back when Matt pretended to be his own twin Mike with Night Nurse calling him Mike in her debut episode.

I'm only two episodes in, and I'm loving this show.
It hits just the right balance between Slice of Life and Vigilante/Superhero for me. I can't wait to see the rest of it, and am on HIGH ALERT for spoilers.

So what's up with Stick and this upcoming war or whatever? Is that a thing in the comics?
