I agree. Turtles in Time is just too easy, even on hard mode. Shredder's Revenge is also fun but it's also very glitchy.

Among the art gallery additions in this new update, we got a full color uncropped/obscured scan of Michael Dooney's Manhattan Project cover! Been looking for that art for years!
Also, the same treatment for the USA Radical Rescue and Hyperstone Heist covers.

Although I had thought that previous versions of the game already included background illustration concepts for the SNES Tournament Fighters, the newest update appears to have far more, including an unused concept for an Archie TMNT Adventures inspired theatre and an unused concept for the Train-stage in which the Channel Six helicopter would crash and burn (but the staff would escape via parachute)! Several of the stages would have featured extra screens to the left and right of the main stage.

According to some fans, we also have new character turnarounds for Wingnut, Aska, and Karai, each one rockin' their super-tight cheeks.

Replaying this as I’m waiting for Shredder’s Revenge Usagi Yojimbo dlc.

Damn we really need 2k3 collection too.

Really wish they improved the arcade games, as a kid my mom would give me quarters for the simpsons arcade machine at the movie theater and while I never made it past the third level when I died I switched between Homer and Bart. In this collection I am stuck playing the same turtle unless I want to restart the whole run or do level select. I know most people don't mind but it is the one thing I wanted more then more games to play online since the online is dead. While the collection is good for giving people easy access to all the games its defintely not the best way which really is a shame when I think the goal of these should be becoming the defacto way to play these games.

I remember reading that if either this collection sells well or if there's demand for it, there could be a collection for the 2k3 games. Let's hope because it'll make these games more accessible.

I am trying to go ahead and get my family's old Nintendo GameCube running in my office because I found our old copy of Battle Nexus we had, haha.

I adored the first 2K3 game on PS2 and my brother and I played the **** out of it so much, but I guess these would be all the games included right? It's not like how it was in the NES/SEGA/SNES days when the games all felt radically different. I'd obviously pick it up, but it doesn't feel as expansive as the Cowabunga Collection is.

Which speaking of, I love that collection so much and am so glad it exists. Love going back to it and playing through the games.

I know the head of production over at Digital Eclipse said there was something they were working on that was a big one, so I wonder what that could be.

Finally bought it for my Birthday.
Worth it for some enhancements and cool concept art from the behind-the-scenes section.
TF in particular is basically a guide how to draw characters.

The game is being delisted in Japan on March 29 on Steam. If you guys were waiting to buy the game, I would suggest to do so, before you cant get it anymore in digital format or the price in retail skyrocket. I'm not saying the game is being delisted in the US... but it doesnt look good.

I would guess that it's Konami being an a$$, again. Wich is not surprising. There must be some problem with the license. I was even surprised this was being released in the first place.
Carrying this coversation over into the official thread.

It's a very weird move, and I'm not sure how this may affect the game over here in the US. Seems to be a debate/conversation going in the thread comments.

Either way, I'm glad I grabbed a physical version of this.

I was playing a bit of Shredder's Revenge Anniversary Edition on my OLED Nintendo Switch today, I like that they had the different skins/colours for the characters. They even had skins/colours for Rise of the TMNT (I was glad to see ones for the 2003 and 2012 shows as well).

Wow, no one's made a post about this in a year now.

So yeah, Cowabunga Collection is one of this month's "free games" if you're a PS+ member, so I got it for "Free" today. I played it a bit. Surprisingly I was able to find a few online games right away and played a few levels of both versions of Turtles in Time with strangers. Not bad. Kinda fun. I plugged in my NACOM arcade stick and it was a bit of a blast for an hour or so before it all got a bit old.

Conversely, I opened up Shredder's Revenge for the first time in a year or so. Couldn't find anybody to play with or any online games. And on that note, why is Shredder's Revenge so online prohibitive vs. Cowabunga Collection? People seem able to pop in and out with ease in that, yet here in Shredder's Revenge it seems designed with an almost Nintendo Switch level of multiplayer prohibity. Like, you MIGHT be able to find a game if you search at just the right time, but your only/best bet is to have Friends online that you can invite and that's really about it.

Also, it's kind of a strange design in Cowabunga Collection. Obviously it makes sense why there is all that space on the left and right sides of the screen, but why shrink the screen vertically so much? I get that you need a little bit of extra screen above the screen to show the names of the people playing online with you, but not THAT much, and why any on the bottom? On a non-widescreen game that's pretty valuable real estate.

Well I mean... what else is there to say other that it's fun to relive those days with arcade perfect conversions of the classics, as well as getting those 8-bit/16-bit games you might have lost if you no longer own those consoles.

Unlike a newer game like, Shredder's Revenge that had 2 rounds of DLC several months apart, once you played those games, that's pretty much it. They can't add new levels or skins or whatever because that would ruin the accuracy of the original games.

Maybe if they withheld some games, like say the release only had the arcade, NES, SNES and Genesis games and then later on added the Game Boy games as DLC. Or maybe even TMNT Re-Shelled? That would have extended the conversation further.
