But if we get more TMNT legos in the second half of this year, what are you hoping to see?

Snake-Karai?
Bebop and Rocksteady?
Rat King?
Tiger Claw?
Baxter the Fly?
Casey Jones?
Metalhead?
Slash?
Dimension-X?
I really want to at least get Casey out of this line before it ends. Chances are though, this line is dead. Lego don't seem to even mention it exists now.

Mega Blocks announces TMNT license!

Put a fork in it, LEGO is done...

Mega Blocks have done some amazing stuff lately, but still.

Called it. If these are half as great as the minimates done by DST or other Mega Blok figures, I'll be happy.

WOW! This *could* be cool, and an opportunity to get some great sets!

The recent Halo, Assassins Creed and SpongeBob stuff has been a HUGE improvement over the older stuff.

Mega Bloks are also catering towards more of an older crowd, this could mean we'll see Mirage Turtles, 80's Turtles and such. Also, we might get a bloks scale Casey, something Lego never actually made.

Lego dun goufed with that expensive movie line. Could have done an OT set or two before calling it quits. Maybe it will fizzle out like when Mega Bloks had movie Spiderman for a bit.

All those buisness buzzwords in just one article!

Might be cool, I'll pick up the sets if they're nice.

I wonder why Lego decided to drop the license?

Oh well. Hopefully Mega Bloks will return to producing awesome TMNT minifigures and playsets like they did in the heyday of the 2003 cartoon! Heck, I'd be totally fine if they just re-issued the original toys as a first start.

Shame that this is happening, but if Mega Bloks is able to go all out with mutants and themes, this could be a good thing.

My only concern is shifting scales. The Spongebob ones went up in size.

But blind bagged figures in the license could be amazing...

This is not happening...

This is not happening!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO

T__T

Try to look on the bright side. Even though mega bloks is lower quality in some ways, maybe they will make minifigures of bebop, rocksteady and other characters we want. They might still mix with LEGO in an okay way since they are bigger characters.

Oh and your TMNT LEGO sets just became a lot more valuable... since they are being discontinued and LEGO has a massive fanbase, they are going to become highly sought-after sets

I am severly dissapointed that Lego no longer have TMNT. I'm not really into Mega Blok, and I wasn't very impressed by the 2k3 Bloks, nor have I much interst in the new Mega Blok esthetics, seeing the minifigs from Assassin Creed, they looks a bit too detailed and thus noisy for that style and with those proportions.

I tried to like the Warcraft mega Bloks, the Murlocs looks fine, but the other humanoids looks weird.

On the positive side, I guess this means there will be a little less stuff that'll buy. Unless the new TMNT Mega Bloks somehow knock me out in the waters.

Personally I like the 2k3 megablocks more ( at least the figures as they actually have painted) I'm glad they got the license. Lego figures have cool vehicles and playsets though.

TMNT alternate builds

Does anyone have the second wave alternate building instructions?

The Official lego website does not exist anymore (from first post, it just goes to DC/Marvel). I have the 5 from the first wave but can find none of the ones from the second wave (turtle sub etc).

Thanks in advance!

I have those alt PDFs as well as the others in the first wave:
79100 Kraang Lab Escape
79101 Shredder's Dragon Bike
79102 Stealth Shell Pursuit
79104 The Shellraiser Street Chase
79105 Baxter Robot Rampage

I dont have the second wave alternate instructions:
79118 Karai Bike Escape
79119 Mutation Chamber Unleashed
79120 T-Rawket Sky Strike
79121 Turtle Sub Undersea Chase
79122 Shredder's Lair Rescue

I remember some (or all) of the alternate models used two sets together.
I dont think the movie ones had alternate models?

I have them all now.
There were 5 wave one alt builds
and only 4 wave two builds.

They can be downloaded at http://web.archive.org/web/201504290...us/donnies-lab
Click on the different pictures, then click download.
or if you have trouble I can send if anyone wants them.
