Main points I found of interest are these will not be serialised & shipping is July 20th.

Could be wrong but my guess is numbering system. Like No. 1 of 5000, 2 of 5000 and so on. Will not happen.

Um 5,000 does not seem like just a few to me. But maybe if someone might have expected 20,000 then I could see that. With so many other options/competition for collectors dollars and the $200 price point. I am no longer concerned about not getting a set. Now if it was like 500 for SDCC attendees and 500 for online only orders, then I might be singing a different tune. Anyone know how many arcade sets and villain sets got produced?

Part of their current license restrictions is that they have to sell their figures in a set.

These are pretty cool but I really don't like the two-toned paint jobs they've given them to simulate shadows. That combined with the black lines make them a pass for me. Just as well since I just completed the SHF set!

Wut? There is only one set. One collector case, 8 figures inside, $200. Whatever the run quantity is it would mean that many total cases.

Correct!

I did respond to Neca by saying that I believe in future they should serialise TMNT stuff, as for collectors the line between the 'original' sets and the 'bootleg' sets is blurred, you can't always be sure what you are buying.

I know some people argue that there is no difference between the 2 types of set, but there are people out there who would like to know if they have an 'offical' set or not.

I do not envy NECA for all the people that complain to them about the sets being exclusives. It's the 4th Comic Con set, those who are invested in this should get the gist of the license deal by now.

The Arcade sets 3000 each with total of 6000 and the nycc villan 3000.but i woued not focus so mutch on nummbers because the sets are not so exclusive.its just something neca has to say because of their licens deal.if neca say3000 they are making 12-15000 or more and 3000 are fore the con and the rest is fore ther unoffcial neca store. that how they can make them retail with the licens deal they got.

AS long as the licens deal neca got is as it is. it will not happend.if it change to us retail then things will change .this is how neca can go around the deal they got and make the sets retail.if you Get the sets at the con you are getting the sets early(not something exclusive or special.just before the rest) and the rest has to wait fore it to Get "retail".but because neca dont want to be sued ther ass off and loose the deal.and work to Get a better deal.(because of good sale last sdcc us residens now can preorder at home and dont need to be on the con)they have to sell them as "bootlegs"(as you call them)from ther unoffical store in china to Get them retail worldwide.so stop complain and be happy fore wath neca does fore tmnt fans worldwide so all can Get them and at retail price.and not just a hand full without paying more on eBay
