Pat Fraley: Krang, Burne Thompson
Barry Gordon: Donatello, Bebop
Renae Jacobs: April O’Neil, Little Girl
Rob Paulsen: Raphael, Chicken Little, Truck Driver
Peter Renaday: Vernon Fenwick, The Giant

Mistakes:
1. Rocksteady jumps out of the way of the Docilizer Ray when Hokum Hare moves the microwave satellite dish towards Shredder, but Krang tells him that it has no effect on mutants.
2. Inside the Microwave Transmission Center, the buttons on Shredder's Com-link are missing.
3. The Channel 6 Easter Egg Hunt banner changes from white to pink when we cut to a shot of only right portion of the sign visible with the Turtles, April, Mildred, and Hokum in front of the Turtle Van.

Catchphrase/Insult Countdown:

6. Leonardo and Raphael say "Turtle Power!" when they jump into Donatello's portal into the Fairy Tale Dimension.
7. Raphael calls Shredder "Shredhead" as his throws a sai and hits him.

Pizza References:
None in this episode.

Pop Culture References:
1. The episode title is dervied from the Aesop fable The Tortoise and The Hare.
2. The fairy tale dimension contains an animated personification of some Mother Goose tales. Included are The Tortoise and the Hare, Rub-a-dub-dub, Chicken Little, The Three Little Pigs and Jack and the Beanstalk which is the primary fairy tale plot used in this episode.
3. This episode takes place at Easter, and is reflected by Donatello's Easter Egg machine, Easter Baskets, Bebop and Rocksteady's Easter Bunny disguises, and an Easter Egg Hunt.

Fourth Wall Breaking Humor:
1. Right before Rocksteady and Bebop walk through the portal, Rocksteady says that this episode is going to be full of rabbit jokes.

2. Donatello's East Egg-Making Machine
3. Donatello's Portable Spectrascope

Notables:

This is also the final episode in which Michelangelo's nunchucks are visible behind his shell, except for a brief appearance in "Landlord of the Flies" and in the European Vacation episodes that aired out of order.
2. The original opening sequence last seen in "Back to the Egg" returns for this and the following episode.

3. When Hokum sees a statue of the Turtles in the future, Hokum says that they are more famous than Little Bo Peep.
4. As Hokum enters Donatello's portal, he says that Hansel and Gretel would love the Turtles' pizzas.

Fourth Wall Breaking Humor:
