It's funny they based a whole set of cards around the Leatherhead episodes.

The Gamespot logo is definitely that of the website (it's like the old logo design - the current one isn't much different though). Most of the cards feature screenshots from the 2K3 games, so the connection isn't altogether baffling. What is confusing, though, is some of them just have 2K3 art, and then randomly stuff like a poorly cropped 2K3 Shredder action figure and even some Mirage art.
I'm just wondering where and how they were released because I've never seen anything like it and I don't think Gamespot (at least their US branch) would ever release anything like these....

As a collector surelly you had suffer this....Any time had you searched / chased an article/item literally all over the world/net for your collection?...
... And do you remember this fantastic sensation when you have it in your hands finally!!? ....Here this my most ever chased TMNT's card piece! Welcome to my own German phonecard of TMNT!! .... A small sump up of my travel for this card: First owner (A) had one of this at his big collection from Ebay...he hesitated to post it for sale...I dont want press him...i asked sometimes for be a buyer/bidder if he decided sale it almost 3 months before that happened...sometimes I asked him ...he didnt answer about sell me... (A) finally decides to sell it...I offer 70USD for that only card... (A) sold the item in a lot to (B) for 100 as part of a bigger lot! (This parted had been edited and corrected)...!!! I asked (B) for buy or trade... without succes...! he knows its a rare card... I start a search for global net...I ask 3 specific Phonecards stores at internet...and 2 or 3 phonecard sellers from ebay ( in different idioms! a nightmare...)...No success!.... ...Finally in a small site I found a Spanish seller with a big lot of phonecards with cartoons (why not?? I must try!!!)...and I try again...I send him message ..in just one day He told me a German friend has one for sale for 8,45 Euros (less than 8$)...included registered mail-letter!! I jump in my chair!!! I BUY IT!!! directly from Germany...!! Cant believed!!! a week later ...here is...at my folder!!!! To everybody: keep searching for your most care items a lot of forum members have that kind of special "wanted" items!!!...you never know if they are waiting at most rare and nearest places for you!!! and much more cheap than you never can dream!...Dont loose your hopes!!! Later or sooner You will find them!!! Hope you be so lucky as me with this card!!! Last edited by Luzmagica; 11-29-2010 at 12:05 AM. Reason: Correcting data!! |
