idw tmnt's Big Bad?

Okay, with everything that's been happening across the IDW TMNT comics thus far, does anyone else think Dragon Lord (Or IDW's equivalent character we've been seeing) is going to be the big baddie the TMNT have to fight in issue 100? Kitsune is trying to revive him, he's appeared multiple times in dreams and visions, and it's implied he's more powerful than any of the pantheon. Could dragon lord have manipulated all these events from the afterlife? Could even things on other worlds like Quanin's madness and the utrom empire's fall be giant chess pieces this eldritch immortal had been playing with, to manipulate the IDW TMNT world into a series of events to bring about his return? I wonder if the TMNT will be the happy unforeseen accident brought about by the twist's and turns of a cosmic villain's elaborate plan, that will be his ultimate undoing.

The Pantheon pretty much say that mutants are a massive anomaly that they didn't expect, so there's likely little room that the Dragon premeditated anything. MAYBE Kitsune and Rat King were in cahoots with him on this, but it's not exactly clear. I think Kitsune might even just be focused on bringing back her father without really knowing what his plans are/were.

It's going to be resurrected Shredder fused with Kitsune's father who is the Dragon spirit, or something along those lines?

I mean...that's essentially what they flat out told us in the actual comic. Unless Kitsune's plans go awry, that's what will happen more or less.

What I mean is the dragon/ maybe dragon lord might be the final, powerful enemy the TMNT have to face by issue 100#, wrapping up a lot of the subplots brewing since the series began, and he might have been manipulating events the whole time. And he is at the center of the pantheon story line, so if they are the 'big bad', so is he by extension. He's at lest the driving force behind kitsune's actions, which were the catalyst for a LOT of the events in the series.

Exactly. They literally told us. I expect him to be like Tengu Shredder from the 2k3 series. The only problem I have is where the hell would they go from there after that????? Like what else would or even could be a threat??

That's what I was just thinking. Unless The Dragon Thing officially STARTS at 100 and moves along from there for another 10+ issues or so.

For the first 50 issues, I'd have said a mix between Shredder and Krang.

As of now it's pretty official that the Pantheon are the "Big Bad" at this point (Agent Bishop and Madame Null are coming in close)

Yeah, wither issue100# is the Start of the dragon story arc or it's end, I think the Dragon and the pantheon will be the focus of the issue 100 story arc.

And WHY am I being insulted in the thread tags again?
