I liked the begining and the ending of the theme song. Everything inbetween felt embarasing. Alright, a scene from the new show! I liked it, though I can tell I'm going to get sick of those anime touches VERY quickly. I love what they've done to Don's character, which is pretty much a genius OT Raph. ETA: Oh, it turned up on Youtube. And I have mixed feelings about it. The rap isn't necessarily awful, and the music isn't bad, but they do not fit together. I think it's the modern weak-ass drums that ruin it for me.

The theme song is pretty horrible outside the opening an closing. Even the animation used is pretty boring looking. I am surprised April only got one scene.
I thought this was going to be more similar to the OT theme but it was awful. Not that it matters as I'll skip it after the first airing. |

The imagery is awesome, the song though. It's kinda lackluster. no passion and no "Umph"
Same problems I have with the theme song to Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. |

TMNT has been cursed with bad theme songs since the OT ended.

Not really. The only theme songs I would consider bad are the ones for Next Mutation, Fast Forward, and Back to the Sewers.

I have to disagree... next mutation was catchy as hell... wouldn't expect less from Saban (was original a music company)

I personally think the Next Mutation theme song (ignoring any reference to Venus) and the Back to the Sewer theme (even though it was trying way too hard) are slightly easier to deal with than the the 2003 theme. I got used to hearing it, but it took a whole season for the groaning to die down. Mostly because of the drawn out "I love being a, I love being a, I love being a turtle!" and the constant "One! Two! Three! Four!" (and "it's a shell of a toooown!").

I like the homages at the beginning and end, but the middle (after just one viewing), doesn't impress me. Maybe it'll grow on me once the show starts. I'm just glad to have something else to watch.

Love the back and forth between Raph and Donnie, though it is odd hearing Rob Paulsen as not-Raph, but I'll live.
