I don't have too much left of my tmnt stuff, I had about 70 carded figures and 20-30 mib vehicles/playsets that I had to sell for financial reasons.

Wow they really ****ed that one up. When these were in stores I kept seeing a Shoko with Leo's card and it kept pissing me off because I had trouble finding Leo for the longest time.

Anyone know about this item:
1992 Playmates Toy Catalog with TMNT on front cover celebrating their 5th anniversary. Is it just a catalog of all the toys Playmates had that year, or what? I'm wanting it if it has lots of TMNT toys in it, but if it's just the cover, I don't know. I still may get it, but not bid too much on it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tab%3DWatching |

I was going to bid on that early on, but I'm trying to distribute my money on things I really want now. I can't believe that thing has gotten that high. That's pitiful.

Well, I wouldn't call it pitiful; its those bidders money and if they see that kind of value in it then that's great for them. In fact, whoever wins, I truly hope they get great joy out of it. You only live once and you should make the most of it.
I just had no idea that that sort of item would command such coin. It does make me feel a little better about my art purchases though. |
