Hi Andrew, any updates on the project?
I hope this message shows you (and all the people involved) that the interest is there! Thanks . |

When I got the invite to go to Florida and premiere my Highlander movie I had to... greatly accelerate post production efforts on it, focus 100% on it, and get it done in time. I'm still working on a more polished version for the Amazon release... when that's done I can dedicate some time just to "Origin." Here pretty quick.

Dan Berger is working on some pages right now. Probably two weeks out from Lawson starting his first couple of batches that I will fund myself.
I have a pretty cool trailer in mind. I think when you see it you will get the "feel" of the book. Quote:

Who wants to see some early Jim Lawson sketches for "Origin"? A couple of these are not final and will be a bit different... but this gives you some idea.
Pages are being worked on now.

I'm just going to recline thoughtfully and let loose the "HMMMMMs".
Goul I (spelling?) and Havelsh have my utmost interest...as should be expected. Leatherhead looks super cool in Lawson's style

You can read about both a little bit in the old "TMNT: Guide to the Universe" from Palladium. The Havelsh story in particular is of relevance... they have a big connection to the Utroms.

Cool, thanks. I might have some trouble finding it though.
Upon finding it... Fantastic.

Ooooh, the Great Turtle! Surprised and glad he's making an appearance. He's an under appreciated character (it's because of the TMNT's encounter with him that the future turns out the way it dies) and he's a definite fit for this story, with probable ties to their origin. It all looks fantastic so far, can't wait!

That's an interesting change, especially after it seemed to start off as Donatello's. But I can see how it would work for her.
Also, it looks as though the image between Donatello and the Great Turtle is a broken link, it's not showing up. From what I'm seeing, the Havelsh will have a slightly different interpretation from how they come off in the Guide to the Universe book. No Hermit Crab-ing around in enormous armor.
