Good value set though!
im guessing its a non US exclusive then? i never heard of Argos

Yes. Argos is a UK retail branch.

Here's the listing.

I don't watch this show nor buy the toys. But around me, every store I have checked while looking for Marvel Legends figures has had tons of ROTTMNT figures (around 20-30 carded figures per store) just sitting on the shelves collecting dust since they first appeared. I don't ever remember the 2003 and 2012 series figures sitting unsold for so long and at such large numbers. Either Target, Meijer and Walmart are all selling out in between visits and restocking them every week or else virtually no one is buying the ones they have.

I hope the next ones come out soon, because I really want Albearto.

Albearto is a really cool figure. You’ll like him.

I haven't seen an April since I got mine. At all three stores I've looked, it's Origami Ninja as far as the eye can see though.

Though I mean the female figures are usually the pegwarmers so I wouldn't be surprised.

Last trip to Target, they were out of Aprils but the Turtles were piled high. Mostly Leo and Mikey.

They stopped their sale, so everything's back to normal price, so that could be why. The one Lair they still have is back up to $130, so I expect it to sit until Christmas, when it goes on sale again. Probably for $99, this time, I predict.

January is inching closer, which means the TMNT Sewer Squad four pack is almost here. I'm a little paranoid that they are going to deliver something below expectations considering it only costs $15... Hope to be pleasantly surprised though.

Y'all think we'll end up with a Rise Of The TMNT Halfshell Heroes styled support line for the kiddies?

The current toys have already been classed as being pre-school. While I understand what you are saying, they are already pretty damn kiddie.

That's interesting so they're going for the 8 and under crowd as the target audience for Rise?

The good news for me is I'll probably be pleasantly surprised either way since I keep forgetting I ordered these.

My personal interpretation is that that wasn’t the intended audience, but that they couldn’t get any buyers to take the toys seriously for the older market.

For those in the US who didn't like the short tendril that came with Meat Sweats, I just found two of the long tendril versions at Target here in WI. So it looks like that will be a running change going forward.

Yeah, I didn't get a tendril, period, just the meat tenderizer.

Was greeted by these fellas this morning at Walmart:

I am 99.9% sure I was the first customer to go through them at the store. I am not sure how many figures come to a case, but there were three of each of these two. Also not totally sure what the assortment was in the case. Most the other pegs were Raph, Baron Draxum, and Meat Sweats. There was one April as well which I don't think was there yesterday. I didn't look at the Meat Sweats hand options. There were none of the Shell Storage Turtles, but they are shown on the back of the cards of the new figures.

Went back to Walmart again this morning. They did have the alternative "hand" Meat Sweats as well so I picked up one of those. Not sure when those arrived and they only had one out of the eight MS figures that were there.

I didn't see the figures themselves on sale at Target, but as predicted, the Lair playset is once again on sale, for $99.95.
