Is there any LEGAL way to watch this without paying extra for Nicktoons?
Note the capitalized word; this isn't an invitation to break that rule posted at the top of the forum. I'm not sure where I stand on this show, but I would like to watch more to find out; sadly it seems to have vanished from the main Nickelodeon schedule.
I really am not interested in anything else enough to subscribe to a whole channel, so can someone help me here? I would prefer an online means of watching, but if you know some TV things I don't, please chime in on those, too. |

Episodes have been streaming for free almost every morning on the Pluto TV Nick channel since May.
EDIT: I'm so sorry! I thought I was posting in the 2012 series subforum! As far as I know, only the 2012 series is available on Pluto TV. The 2003 series was on there at one point when the Nick channel started in May, but it doesn't seem to be anymore. Last edited by The-Shredder; 07-17-2019 at 07:02 PM. |

They’ve been showing reruns pretty often. It was not on this time because they had the Spongebob anniversary stuff.

Yeah, as Wildcat said, the repeats normally tend to be on the regular Nick channel at the same usual Saturday morning time when there isn't a new one. If that's not doable then I'm out of suggestions as far at tv goes.
The Pluto TV is interesting. Didn't look it up the last time it was mentioned, but I'm surprised now to see it's owned by Viacom. Would really not mind seeing that as an available app for smart TVs. |

I'm so sorry! I thought I was posting in the 2012 series subforum! As far as I know, only the 2012 series is available on Pluto TV, not Rise of the TMNT. The 2003 series was on there at one point when the Nick channel started in May, but it doesn't seem to be anymore. However, if you're a fan of or have never seen Hey Arnold!, SpongeBob SquarePants, Rugrats, The Fairly OddParents, or All That, check it out!
If you want to watch the show legally for free, you can get a free trial at Philo.com and watch episodes on-demand. It's kind of like Hulu, but the selling point is live TV. As for Hulu, with the 2012 series you had to wait until the season finished airing until it became available for streaming. The same probably applies for Rise of the TMNT, so we'll see. |

I got a season pass on iTunes. It's not too bad.

While 2012 got this treatment too after a bit, repeats mostly being relegated to Nicktoons, I'm surprised a new series got it right out of the gate, and now on to having its time slot stolen if no new one. Even while not being fond of this particular one, that's still a shame for TMNT in general. |
