Failblog.org TMNT Post
If you have never heard of Failblog.org it is a blog that posts photos and videos of "Fails". Once in a while they will post a "Win" and in today's particular post they posted a TMNT "Win".
Check it out here. I thought it might be enjoyable for some... However, I must note that on this particular "Win" for the turtles Failblog.org Fails on their own with the post title. Right now it is labeled "TNMT Win"... I find it ammusing that a website who points out others misfortunes creates their own in the process. Enjoy! -mm |

The Mirage Studios copyright is on the bottm left of the (I'm assuming) magnet. I'm curious if they actually approved this or not.

I think it was just one of those things that didn't dawn on them. I was told that nobody in the approval process thought it was dirty. I honestly think its a generation gap thing. The same reason how "South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut" got passed the sensors.

Spencers... now that is a store I have not heard of in years... They used to have one in the mall here in the area but that was a long time ago... I remember that they had all the best funny shirts... Now you can get those practically anywhere...
Still funny nonetheless. I wonder if these were part of a promotion or something... Maybe Pizza Hut? -mm |

It's actually considered sodomy in Virginia, ha. Class 6 felony I think.
Also illegal in Maryland and Florida... I don't know how serious it is though. Last edited by ToTheNines; 09-10-2009 at 01:51 PM. |

It's like 1992 in Spencers and Hot Topic. Tons of TMNT and other 80's/90's cartoons stuff. It seems TMNT is the most popular as they have a ton of it in there.
I saw that magnet and my first thought after laughing and showing all my friends was how did that get past the Mirage guys. In fact the store employee saw I was buying some TMNT stuff (at Spencers) and had me walk over to look at the magnet. I already saw it but the fact that he pointed it out as his favorite thing was even funnier. |

I am proud to say that I am now a owner of this delightful magnet. I also picked up the magnet with all the turtles in the turtle van and it says Go Green! Plus a couple of buttons, one of each turtle.
You can also see that I updated the 16gb USB TMNT custom. I ended up painting the entire figure black and also painting an extra CD black and mounting the figure to the CD and adding a 25th anniversary button in the center. It looks pretty sharp. |
