SH Figuarts Turtle figures - Page 76

Hey guys, I have some good news on this line. Now nothing is a guarantee but the line is not officially dead. I spoke with a rep from GTS distribution at the National Sports Collectors Convention and he told me that a Shredder prototype was on display at SDCC but was not out for the public. Additionally, here's the exciting part, a prototype of Splinter was also on display. Now anything is possible but I'm not completely sold on this line being cancelled just yet!

SH displays a lot of sh*t that never comes to fruition. I'd say there's about 10 different Star Wars figures they've shown that we'll never get.

Hes not really loose. Hes 100% and the box is good, it was just used on the convention table to demonstrate articulation. Only the turtle part was ever removed from the box- never the hands, weapons, etc.

I find this really hard to believe. This is the first mention I have heard of Shredder or splinter being on display and as many video bloggers that are turtle nuts or live streamers/interviews we all saw and no one even mentioned these. Usually we'll get "this was on display with no pics allowed" or someone manages to sneak a pic out anyway....I'll take this one with a grain of salt. Gets is in my backyard. I'll swing by there this week to verify this info.

I'm just passing along what I was told, don't shoot the messenger. Hopefully you can find more info. I too find it odd that we didn't hear anything but GTS works with Blue Fin and are reliable. I don't see any reason for a rep to lie. He wasn't gaining anything from it as I was at a sports convention. They had WWE SH Figuarts on display at the show too, which were very cool for those into wrestling.

Luckily GTS is about 10mins away from me

The NECA ones are OK, but I prefer the Figuarts ones and am so desperate to get all the core characters done.

Gah sorry forgot to get back to this...here is what my GTS rep said:

I checked with my toy category manager on the Shredder. We don’t have listed yet but if it is coming we will have it listed when it is.

This is sadly all he would give me, but keep in mind I was opening a new account since I had just found out that they were local to me so I can save on shipping.

Basically I dont have a good rapore with these guys yet, so I think they were being cagey.

Why can't Tamashii Nations/Bluefin at least let us know what's happening. Either it's cancelled or delayed so why can't they just specify which.

Seems like this is a common problem with TMNT figure line they never make it far after the 4 turtles are released. Time to move on to another line.
