2012 missed the opportunity to hint at it when Leo's VA changed and they opted for injury-related voice change rather than just getting older. Seth Green's sounding a little off there for a while would have been perfect for this.

Generally I wouldn't expect it to be that dramatic for anyone of a reptile origin. Just gradually look like older, bigger, and a bit more well built versions of themselves. Questionable if they'd have acne issues... I wouldn't expect it from a reptile, but they are typically capable of sweating, thus would have sweat glands like mammals, so maybe their skin is bit more like ours than most reptiles.

And humans think we have it bad. Trying being a mutant with mixed up DNA and have no clue what to expect. lol

It made me think of Frankenstein's monster.

Which, if they're going with the escaped lab animals origin, is kind of what he is in the first place. A man (or rather Utrom) made freak of nature who can't fit into human society, despite his intellect.
