A man with taste then

(been reading it for about 20 years now, and still continues to intrigue)

So Bobby, I might be asking for spoilers here but I'm really intrigued by one of Sophie's covers for the upcoming Bebop and Rocksteady series. It makes the implication that it is somehow a sequel to Tales #7, a Mirage story but the solicitations make no reference to interdimensional travel, just time travel. So is IDW-verse and Mirage-verse more connected than previously thought or does that story happen to the IDW turtles at some point?

Man....that afro on Bebop...that's new.

EDIT: Also will TMNT Deviations be part of any TMNT trade, or will we have to get it included with the other series deviations trades instead? Since the TMNT one is only one issue I'm curious.

Yeah that sort of afro-mohawk is something Sophie seems to like drawing.

That would go a long way towards making the IDW TMNT feel (even more) like the definitive version of the mythos. I hope if the day ever comes, you go with Santolouco as the artist for said arc/mini/micro/whatever, 'cause, well...

Spoiler:

Frankly, I think the world needs his Miyamoto.

Damn. That is amazing.

Bobby, out of curiosity, has IDW approached Stan Sakai yet about a Usagi/IDW TMNT crossover?

Those are interior pages! You'll have to read to find out, but the Savanti shown on these pages is meant to be the same as the one in Mirage. (much the same as we imply that our Renet is the same Renet from Mirage)

TMNT Deviations will come out in the Deviations TPB. I don't know if we'll collect it elsewhere in a TMNT-only collection.

Stan himself would be my first pick! But I do love that Usagi from Mateus!

I've talked to Stan a lot on the subject, yes. That's about all I can say about it.

Just curious will all mini's now be 5-issues instead of 4, or is it just the Bebop/Rocksteady one since that comes out weekly?

What's the likeliness of a Panda Khan appearance, in the possible future?

Viacom doesn't own Panda Khan, he would be a crossover character like Usagi so they would have to work out a deal with whoever owns him. Very unlikely for him to appear.

I would say in the May issue, given that it's how this storyline wraps up, and he's clearly going to be the secret weapon to save the Utroms from whoever is wreaking havoc. Maybe even take over Krang's role as their leader once everything is through.

Speculation in the discussion threads, please.

Past the publication of #50 or the production of #50? If the latter, that would be around when?
